Since a host is not in physical contact with a member and in most cases does not even see him in video she has to rely on his typed words. Based on that she comes to like and trust the member. She relies on the member to be truthful and honest. When she finds out he is lying then the only basis she had to like the member is gone. That is why they get pissed...kinda.

The LOWER your price, the MORE people will be able to see you.
The HIGHER your price, the LESS people will be able to see you.

Wether they WANT to see you or not, is NOT important, since COST tends to be the only restriction.
That said, what's better? Sit in front of your computer for 8 hours, and get 2 members, for a total of 20 minutes at $2 per minute?
Or would you rather spend 6 hours in front of your computer, and get 10 members for a grand total of 200 minutes at $.80 per minute?

If two hosts are equal in terms of quality, the market says that the one who charges less money, will get the most members, and in turn, more profit - because most likely she will spend less time idle in front of her computer, as opposed to the one who has to sit for hours and hours and hours with no viewers at all (remember, the higher the price, the less amount of people that can afford you ;))

Some girls RISE their prices when they get no viewers, in an attempt to try and compensate for their income loss. Honey, you're doing it the wrong way, since this is a market, you have to lower your price to make it affordable forr a wider amount of customers. If you start getting a lot of viewers, THEN, increase the price!

For all of you who don't believe me, do a test-run.
See how much you earn PER HOUR at your current price, during a week.
Then lower your price by say, 20%. And see how much you earn PER HOUR for a week.
If you used to earn more before lowering your price, it's plain and simple: your price was right for the market.
If you start earning more when you lowered the price, that means your price was OVER the current market value.
If you're doing bad economically, you will lose little trying this :))

Oh, and make sure you do it in a PER HOUR comparison. An hour in front of the computer with no members, is an hour wasted - you could be doing some other job and earning a lot more (opportunity cost), or simply put, you could be reading and having fun with your friends. Not to mention for all the girls who work at home and have to pay their Internet Provider, electricity, etc (or for the girls who pay on a per day basis to their studios).

I for one would have gone to your video for that price if I had known you were lowering your price and if I was home. If you are going to do that you should advertise it so people know. Or set a particular slow time every day. Say 1-3 eastern time your video is xx cents a minutes. Advertise that. If you lower your price and dont tell anyone you are expecting men to just stumble upon the lower price. You could send a mail out to all your past customers. A few good hosts do that. Keep a list and send out CC mail. I miss you. Come see my new pics. Or...what gets me. Come see me and I will give you a half price video if you stay for 30 minutes. All good business. Price is everything but price without advertising is nothing.

I go on CC binges every now and then, after which I disappear for awhile once I get it out of my system, My most recent binge has been about $8,000 in 7 weeks. I get so much love during these periods of high-volume use, only to be ignored by most of my "friends" when I cut back. Strange how that works, lol. But sometimes I do end up with a real friend that doesn't expect video or anything so that's always nice. Then you know that the host actually cares about you as a person, not as a big fat wallet.

As a member, I would not like anything that encourages me to spend more than I already do. I spend enough already, lol. Also, flagging members for hosts also raises issues in terms of member privacy. I do not necessarily want everyone to know how much I spend because then hosts expect me to spend more just like casinos expect me to gamble more for comps. On the other hand, if CC wants to give me a discount for spending more like another site I know does, I would of course like that.

I'd rather see the option to buy by "time volume" for a specific host: 30 minutes with a 10% discount, 1 hour for a 20% discount, for example.
It's better for the viewer, and it may be useful for some hosts (the one who don't want it, should have the option to not allow it).

CC sees itself and the Ebay of Porn. Their business model is to provide the means of matching willing buyers (horny members) to willing sellers (cash strapped hot girls). For this service they take a percentage of the sale price. Of course the more sales the more money they make. They must police the site going after members and hosts who are not playing according to the rules. They attempt to increase business in general with contests and special promotions but anything that rewards some more than others always has to be paid by someone. I think it is up to the host to reward high rollers with extra perks....free videos, hotter videos, maybe some off site action. Neither CC or the hosts will go along with anything that erodes their income long term.

I'd like the "volume" packages with discounts, because i never have videos of less than 15 minutes. 20 minutes is what i consider short, for Instant Action.
In little shy i used to go over an hour on average.

In the old days (a year ago) I would do far more and longer videos. Now they are less frequent and much shorter. Prices are just too high. I understand the value of the dollar and inflation and all that but with food and gas going through the roof the only thing I can cut back on is spanking the monkey.

Half of the girls with phone symbols do not do phone and generally didnt know a phone symbol was there. By far the girls I did phone with did not have a phone symbol. They were willing to let me call their cell phones. They also said they did not want to talk but they would listen. Pretty hot if you ask me. But my point is the symbol is no guarantee and the lack of a symbol means little as well.

Host should consider having two phones... or at least two sims... One for CC and one for personal use.

The CC phone rules (set by the host) could be that the viewer only gets the number after he is in video so she was sure he would go into video. Of course, he could leave right away, but that would not matter because the host would not turn on her CC phone until he was actually in her video and saying he was calling, and the phone would be turned off the second he leaves video. That would prevent 1.000.000 phone calls from viewers. Also, I believe that most phones allow sms to be turned off and to make it so voice messages cannot be left. This would prevent harrassment by viewers. Finally, there are phone in Europe (I know of none in USA) that do not need credits on them for but a viewer could call and the host would not pay.

The only risk with my plan seems to be that a host would need to buy a new phone if she wanted to keep her personal phone on at all times and not change sims and also that two viewers (one in video and one that already had a number) would call at the same time (which seems unlikely and it is easy enough to change phone numbers for the CC phone if a viewer became a stalker and waited for another member to enter video -- a host could only give numbers to members with cams to prevent repeat stalking if the number is changed). Also, phone could be an incentive to go 1 to 1 and offered there exclusively. I don't think that I am missing anything, but hosts let me know. And of course microphones that actually worked and didn't take up too much bandwidth would be another alternative.

The guy entering chat has no idea that his greeting isn't going to be seen by a host who is away from her screen vaccuuming her cat, busy on one of the other sixteen sites she is currently in a 121 with, or just doesn't care enough about free chat to answer.... ie. I've had the experience before where my greeting in text gets no response, so I go into vid and she is right there and ready to talk... I then leave.

I can see both sides though... well, except for the side where you say you just watch them and say nothing when you know they have entered. And like I said, you can see when I come in... I can't see when you aren't there or are just ignoring me.

The idea of the free chat is to be able to get to know someone a bit before deciding that you might want to give her your money. And someone who says nothing at all has just told me all I need to know.
Btw, I also should also mention this is not the only site with free "intro" chat where this happens, and I think, for the most part I've had better responses from the hosts here than a lot of them elsewhere...

Some members have a bunch of windows open at the same time. They may have opened your window and you did not respond right away and they moved on to another. Your window is lost in the tabs or open windows. This happens because a lot of hosts don't respond. Out of 50 hosts I try and chat with at night (Eastern US time) only about 20 or so respond. So it is a question of volume. Say hi to 5 and maybe 2 will be awake or not otherwise engaged.

Are u saying you could not find a host available for a vid this evening? Sounds unusual to me. Anyone else have that problem?

I had a host put me on delay....That may be the reason. It has never happened to me before..... Maybe I will just go to bed.

With that sort of strike rate, perhaps you are failing to correctly diagnose where the problem lies?

Yes, extreme but true.

The successful one was my 5 star fave who always delivers and advises me when not alone so I dont waste my money.

Second session started with much promise but after a few minutes host disappeared and did not return.

The others in no particular order but mostly in the evening one was extreme delay and couldn't get a 121 after several hours. Another said "come to vid" without answering questions. The rest did not respond to text. One other "video only".

I agree. It is harder and harder to find the right girl at the right price who is available. Many don't respond, Not sure if they are sleeping, away from the studio, doing it with their bfs or what. 1 out of 10 is extreme but I have given up several times because I narrow it down to a few hosts and zip are ready, willing or able to do a video. The only ones eager to go are the super high priced ones. Not gonna happen.

where have you been--there are a lot of people in community chat room and some are friends with each other--just start chatting dude--who knows someone might like you to video them

im in private typiing along when someone i have repeatly blocked re-enters floods, ruining train of thought loosing text cus cant scroll faster then the flooding. so i guess its better to chase off the members that dont pay the hosts that do it constantly. what amazes me is that they get enuff viewers to continue, but the id wager that not many from comm see them. probably their other sites.

yes, it's seems to be counter-productive - often wonder if they work from a script, if they are made to chase for business in pms by their bosses.

asians are hardly the only ones f.looding, there arel plenty of russains and romanians doing it too. guess u care not notice that fact for some reason

Your wrong lol! Asians are the biggest spammers and flooders!
Its rare for romanians or russians to do it, but i did see them do it once and it was because the spams already got on their nerves so they started to do the same hoping the asians would understand. didnt work.
And there is 2 russian hosts i know that spam, but not as much as asians.
1 floods the room and the other one keeps on going on about how perhaps she should take her clothes off. That type of attitude will put everybody off cc, think of cc and be sick cause of the annoyance caused when you just wanna relax and have some fun. They totally spoil all that :(

I like to go to community chat. I have a lot of friends there and it is where I meet new hosts. I do not stay long, but I do visit quite often.

Old topic. And most people agree. The ability to permanently ignore hosts has been requested numerous times. When I enter Comm Chat I go down the list and ignore as many of the hosts as I can based on past experiences. They are still chatting but you dont have to see it. Makes the conversation a bit odd when someone is responding to something you didn't see but it less annoying.
