After a minor difference of opinion over a video credit with CC I have decided to pack it for good. I have visitors coming from South America for 5 weeks and I don't think I will have the time, money or opportunity to log on let alone practice my backhand. I am hopeful between that time away from CC and the minor slight from CC customer support I will be able to break away for good. Wishful thinking I know.
I want to wish everyone the best of luck. I have the utmost respect for the hosts and pretty much total distain for the members including me. I can't say I made any lasting friendships but I did fall in love a few times, got my heart broken a few times and regrettably hurt a few people along the way. I have seen some of the most beautiful women in the world and had some good and sometimes very odd experiences. I could have done a lot with the money I spent here but while I wince when I realize how much I spent I do not cry over split milk. Plus some hosts were worth every penney.
CC is the best of times and the worst of times. But all things do come to an end. Peace to all of you.

I leave cc email to some of the hosts I view and although some are very good at replies many will not.
If that is the case i drop the host like a hot potatoe because it shows her character and attitude toward viewers so a lesson for those wise enough to read this.............................

I agree. I think maybe 20%-30% of the hosts would not meet a member period, for whatever reason. But I think the vast majority, if they meet someone here that they like, are happy to meet them in real life. And the vast majority of that group will have sex with the members they meet. (Hey, we're all adults here and have adult desires - member and host alike.) Most - but not all - hosts probably aren't interested in meeting a member unless they are already attracted to him, except in cases where it's some 50+ year old guy who's just really friendly and - for lack of a better term - harmless. I don't, however, think that many hosts are interested in meeting guys that have asked them to do to stripping, hardcore, etc. on cam. At least not using the screen name that they know and like. ;) I think most girls here who aren't in a serious relationship will meet a guy that they genuinely like and are attracted to. The problem, from what the hosts I've met have said, is that most of the members don't fit into this group. They're either too old, unattractive, strange, or don't have the funds, time or flexibility to come meet them. It's that simple. Of the six hosts I've met, four had met members before me, and of that four, two had sex with the members (or so they told me). So, there's a lot of hooking up going on in this community. No doubt about it.

I use Mozy. One of several online backup services that are now available. If you have a high speed connection (Cable or DSL) it is the way to go. I pay 5 bucks a month and the files I specify (video, music, pictures, text, etc.) can backed up to a remote server. It takes a few days or weeks to make your initial uploads. I did mine at night. You can set the program to do that. After everything was uploaded it did incremental backups. Only things that are added or changed. It works very well. I put a new hard drive in my PC and downloaded some files. That also takes a while. They create 1 gb packets and it takes as long as it takes you to download a 1 gig file. I figure 60 bucks a year is cheaper than keeping new hard drives in my machine and it is cheap insurace. Mozy is owned by EMC so it will be around for a while.

When the hard drive crashes what then? Oh wait..it have it back up on a second drive in your computer. When someone breaks into your house and steals you computer with both disk drives in it what then? When you exceed your drive's capacity. Doesn't take a huge amount of pictures, songs and videos to fill up 500 gig...then what? Mozy storage is unlimited. When you buy that new drive it has to be installed and of course the pictures transfered from the old drive to the new drive. You may be BIll Gates but I did it once and it was a pain in the ass. I also have the option of keeping some of my files just out on Mozy with no copies on my hard drive. Saves space on my local drive and keeps some of my movies private. If I want to see them I can download them from my personal stash, watch them and then delete them. I think it is worth every penney of 60 bucks. I think it is cheaper if you pay annually and you get 2 months free if you pre-pay for 2 years. I hear what you are saying but I am a guy who likes the least amount of hassle and that type of backup does it for me.

Mozy is easy to crack. They don't have that much security to offer.
I prefer to store everything in hard drives. The story about hard drives failing is not always true, I still have 420 mb hard drives that still work. I can always back it up. One more thing, Billy G. is more a business man than a tech guy ;-)

I think if you are suspected of storing illegal stuff Mozy would give you up in a heartbeat with a court order. However, I doubt they care about what you store there in the absense of any outside inquiries. I suppose someone could figure out your ID and log into your account and see what you have but that is a risk we face every day in a world with most everything in our lives being online.

hey john. I use Acronis True Image. Every time I close pc, the prog makes a mirror image of my hard drive, updating incrementally. It only takes a few seconds to update once the main data is stored remotely the first time.

If $1.20 was her price for 1-2-1 when she was charging $0.50 - $0.70 for open then obviously I would go for this option as I get the same show at the same price without any other annoying member popping in and ruining it.
