I'm a fan of both, but each has their own unique brand of humor. WTF was a caustic SOB but true to a point and push is more subtle injecting harmeless humor in his post. I don't really know Pushkin except for the simile jokes, but liked WTF very much. However, for real wit and intelligent posting, INYF remains unbeatable. He won't like me saying this but then I'm not his friend!

I think in terms of wit and humor and sarcasm, the best two posters here recently have been WTF and A Banana (even though both can be a little caustic and, occasionally, downright mean!). Sadly, both appear to have slipped away from us and the forums are a poorer place for it. Just MHO.

tattoos and body piercings
i am curious, am i the only person that is turned off by girls having tattoos? to me it is like graffiti, it does not make a woman more beautiful, but instead diminishes her natural beauty. when i see a girl with a tattoo, she instantly loses something in my eyes. for example when i see a girl i don't know walking down the street or in a picture... in reality she could be the sweetest, nicest most faithful girl in the world... but the first thought that enters my mind when i see her tattoo (especially the big tribal art ones) is... that girl is a slut, or some dirty biker chick. as i said it might not be true about her, she might not be that kind of girl in reality... but still it is the immediate impression i get when i see it. it immediately turns me off and i rule her out in my mind as a potential gf or girl i would date.

Everyone has their own perception of beauty. But to 'judge a book by the cover' shows a shallowness of character. Perhaps you should get to know one of those 'tatooed sluts' and find the beauty within.

Tattoos show the personality of the person. For example, there are people who take their time deciding what to get etc. and then have a tattoo that will have a great meaning for them for the rest of the life. It is something only for them and then others. Now these people will most likely tell you that there is no way on earth you could simply walk into a studio, pick something that attracts your eye in the catalogue and then have it tattooed. So if the person is reasonable, you should see that anyway.
As for getting more than one tattoo - making one is addictive.
Bottom line is - the person is what matters not the tattoo, piercing etc. and in many cases a nice personality goes so good along with a tattoo that fits well along with the personality.

i understand what you are saying gala. and i try not to let my first impressions of people be the final, end all be all, ruling on them.
but here is something else you should consider. call it food for thought. many of the people here that replied that they like tattoos or disagreed with me judging people by their appearance, including urself, said i should focus on who the person is inside and not their appearance... BUT... the very reason people get tattoos is because they are trying to draw attention to their appearance with them and make themselves seem more interesting to others. essentially they are asking people to take notice of their bodies instead of their inner beauty. if they are trying to draw attention to their appearance and make it the focus of other people then they should be prepared to be judged by others based on their appearance. it is common sense.

Well, I like tattoos on women. Not too many and not too "in your face", but when tastefully done I consider it body art. As an example go look at xPETITEx. She has a gorgeous dragon on her lower back and a lion on her lower belly. Both tattoos are tasteful and add to the package in my opinion. If she was tattooed all over with gaudy random disconnected images then I would probably not like them but I would still try not to pre-judge her proclivities. Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers.
