To the origininal poster...people here have different motives. What is the definition of a "sex vacation?" I met someone here, and we had sex, but I don't think my trip fits that definition. I was attracted to someone, took a chance...and things worked out....because the other person liked me also. I could have lined up 5-6 girls "just in case" as some members would advice, and I perhaps then that would have met the definition. However, that is just not my style....not because I'm such a good person...it's just not me.

I define a "sex vacation" as a trip for the specific and main goal of getting laid and if there are some museums that's okay. A "normal vacation" is an itinerary of multiple vacation spots that includes visiting friends (even those met on the net) where any physical or emotional spark that may happen was secondary to the primary intention.

I think most recommend having several friends "lined-up" is the great likelihood that one or more of them might not show up at the appointed time.

I always plan for the worst and hope for the best. I can't imagine arriving in a second or third tier Russian city planning the whole trip around someone I never met in real life. If she chickened out or simply changed her mind how would I manage where everything was so different and hard to suss-out?

I do recall meeting a girl in another country in such a third-tier city. I planned about 3 days or so there. She met me, we went to a museum, had a nice dinner and very pleasant evening. We laid out the next couple days' events and at no time was I forward with her. It was 100% platonic.

I bid her farewell that evening and she then proceeded to ignore my phone calls and e-mails for the next two days, leaving me high and dry. I found out later that she was married and her husband was the studio owner.

why would i want to be in a fiction novel

Well, I have met around thirty or more girls from here (and a few more who were their friends that I met because of them) and a couple did take advantage a bit. But I will say that only one tried to take me for the Big Ride to the Green Card, though she wasn't a host. The girls here are VERY rarely interested in actually leaving their home countries and moving away, despite rumors to the contrary.

Here are a couple more anecdotes if you liked that other one. Early in the time of being online I stumbled across a girl who was absolutely devastating in her charm and beauty. She was my fantasy girl without compare. We spent hours online chatting. When she wasn't online I scanned the "online now" feature and found other similar girls. Yes, childish, but it became something of an online video game for me to try to find ALL of his employees. My trophy case soon contained almost 20 girls who I talked with fairly regularly. I even wrote a script that created a page featuring only girls from his studio. I sent it to the girls to give to him, but apparently he had no thoughts to create a web page.

It was wierd to see that they broke down into two major cliques, a minor clique and a number of "loners." It was like watching a tele-novella. One time, one of them convinced me to get a Chathost Account and see if any girls were out there who would go to my room. I tried it and unbeknownst to me three of the girls from the studio anonymously logged in and started talking to me at the same time. It gave me a true appreciation for how hard this job can be (and why I never get to upset at slow answers in textchat).

Imagine going to their country for a vacation and trying to arrange to meet as many of them as possible. It was certainly an addition to the museums and churches. I met two of them together for a coffee and they took me to a place where six or seven more of them were waiting to wish me a surprise happy birthday, including the gift of a wonderful vase that I still have. The climax to the evening was when they surprised me with an appearance from the one host I was truly smitten with. I actually still am in touch with one of the girls who unfortunately married her high school sweetie.

That was in more innocent days, but they are fond memories. And still, here I am.

I consider CC to be like going to a cocktail party, or a beer-bash, if you will. I flirt furiously with every girl in sight, but no matter what we say together I have absolutely no interest in going to the next level as it is obvious we have nothing in common other than have some fun. You seem to have a level head on your shoulders and understand the difference between reality and fantasy. I'd say the odds of a meet working out are not high but if you approach it with realistic expectations why not try? Just about every city in the world is worth a few days visit. If you have the $$ and time plan a nice trip to wherever and if she doesn't show - or skips after your first coffee shop meeting (or brings her bf/husband along) then take in the sights for a couple more days and go home knowing you had a nice vacation whether you connected with the girl of your dreams or not.

It is a sweet idea and it is the thought that really shows merit. I think his point is that if a host wants to work for $0.10 per minute it should be up to her. However, this neglects the financial needs of CamContacts. I'm sure their numbers-crunchers have determined what THEY need as their cut from each viewing.

Even if a host is happy with $0.05 per minute as her share, it is probably not enough to support the infrastructure of CC. So I posit that they have determined the minimum to satisfy their purposes and transfer that theory to the hosts. I would think that the maximum is determined by assessing what other sites charge and limiting the hosts so that CC remains the bargain it is.

First of all, I can afford to tip and I have done so up to $100 at other places; but, I think it's a bad idea for friendly CC community. I can imagine trying to see a host while competing with another member who tipped her $5 after his last visit and because of that tip, she goes to 121 with him instead of me. I have enough trouble seeing my favorites and have given up on some because of inability to see them on a regular basis. We do not need another variable here.

I would prefer a system where you could schedule a favorite host at a premium cost. If she does not meet the schedule, she gets fined or is obligated to perform for free. If member does not meet schedule, it costs him a certain amount.

The only thing CC should think about doing really is allowing prepaid mins, instead of as u play, they would have alot less problems with credit cards and such cause members cant go into vid until they have pre bought credit

I think cc was created by it's first members who were dissatisfied with other sites. I don't think they meant it to be run as an on-going commune-style affair. Hell, in those first months ALL the hosts fit on one page, and the staff posted frequently, by name, in the forums. They've grown beyond being quite so homey

Personally i think the mention of members implies equality as in all viewers are members. Whilst it is quite possible that the persons who set the site up also viewed I am sure that they are actually shareholders.

Yes, it's true, the site's character has changed with time. But you will also find this is the friendliest and most flexible site on the net. NO OTHER PLACE begins to compare.

As the place grew from a few tens of members to tens of thousands there is no way they can put decisions and plans to a vote each time they come up. However, over the years I have seen them retract decisions many times. I have seen them implement suggestions time after time. I have seen them tolerate activity in the forums that no strong-arm management would.

All in all, though they don't strictly abide by their founding statement they have a GREAT site.

I would like to see a different format in video. There is no need for the text box to be many times bigger than the video, also why not center the video or better yet put the text box right next to and the same size as the video. Another suggestion, have the emoticons always visible.

no duh. you assume the schedules are accurate and as poster below suggests, she gets up when she pleases. my experience is that they are not always adhered to. i favor a system where you can actually count on it.

i think member should put up deposit, say $25 or $50 when he schedule. if I dont show up i forfit deposit. if host dont show up, i get deposit back and free equivalent video from host.

In my experience most say, "whenever I can" or something equally useless. Others say "in the morning" but then "private" under country so you have no idea what time zone. I don't know the logistics of how it would work other than to impress upon the hosts that is is to their advantage to let customers know when they can be reached. Imagine logging on and having your screen light up with members there waiting for you. No more time wasted hoping someone will stumble upon the fact host is on-line.

Sorry but I still think you are wrong. I would say, in the sentence used, proper is an adjective and should therefore not be capitalised.

It should probably should have been termed "Standard English," which is an accepted term (with capital letters intact" in the linguistic world.

In that sentence "proper" doesn't seem to indicate an attempt to indicate a specific style or dialect of English, only that some standard rules be followed.

One thing common to many posts here is an inability of the poster to conceive that other members may want something different to him from this site. Stripping was NEVER allowed there, the rules were simply never enforced. Now that CC has expanded their services to other formats the rules must be enforced to accomodate laws in the countries the service is offered.
