Native English speaker viewers, complaining about English level of hosts
Cheers to all you hosts who speak amazingly good English. I am in awe of you for more than one reason. I imagine so many of your viewers are from the US, UK etc who haven't a clue about other languages and cultures...in particular those of Asia. English language arrogance....don't you hate it!! I am a native English speaker and I cringe so often at the ignorance and negative attitude to even trying to get into other languages. Sorry for the sermon....btw...anyone speak to me in Japanese? host of course :)

It isn't language arrogance to expect that sites geared towards English speakers should have hosts that speak English. Not all sites are this way. Further, English is the major language of the internet, and it is probably the most studied language by people who were not born in a country where English is the native language. But in terms of people not knowing a lot about different cultures and appreciating them, that is probably a fair criticism. But I don't think that has anything to do with what language somebody speaks.

I grew up poor, went to school everyday, studied hard, started working at an early age, saved my money and went on to be fairly sucessful.
Now I'm supposed to work so I can give my part of my money to others that are lazy or choose to do drugs or have no ambition in life otherthan to find ways to get "free" money from others?!?
Am I wrong or just being too cynical?

Well, we all live in society which has laws,rules,etc. We have to pay taxes coz state requires this, and no one asks if we want to pay. And part of taxes is used for charity.Can u not pay taxes? Yes u can but ull become a criminal then. U can say"I dont mind society", but believe me society doesnt mind u even more. Not all of poor people do drugs or have no ambitions as u say,our society makes them what they r. Or even drug addicts,etc, think about their children. Is it their fault that they have such parents? And u wont help a childVolunteers giving money in different relief funds do it by their own desicion and should be mentioned that is just nesessary for poorest counties for example. U know that there r plenty of countries where people r starving?But no one asks u to give money for such purpose, on the other hand u cant help paying taxes and communicate with society,so why to talk about things that u cant resolve?

So causes such as a suicide hotline for teens, breakfast programs for school children who arrive hungry, disaster relief for families who've lost everything in flood or earthquake are not worthwhile causes? There are lots of innocent victims out there that need a hand up from time to time. It's how we look after our own that defines us as a civilization and not just a collection of individuals. If you can't part with the money, consider giving your time and expertise. Perhaps teach someone who is struggling your secrets to success!!

I wonder how many times people have been charitable to you in your life and you didn't even know it or appreciate it. Keep all your money to yourself mate. Giving is a joy....a joy too good for someone like you. .... Maybe there is someone out there who can forgive your selfishness? Obviously not if they all think like you. That would have to be Amazing Grace indeed....

What you lovingly give to others, you give to yourself. If you cannot give with love, then better save your money. I don't give money to junkies, either, but I used to. Occasionally, but extremely rarely, for whatever reason I don't understand, I still may give a few bucks to a junkie in need. I never let them manipulate me into feeling guilty, they can try that on the next guy. However, occasionally you meet someone and you sense that they really need a meal or whatever, not just the next fix. I guess I guess it is a matter of intuition, or whatever.
But don't forget, all over the world there are million of people who never did anything wrong and who's in need of your charity. I am not gonna save the world...but I try to help whenever it feels right. As for organized charities, many of them are scams...not all thouhg.

It's not legal in the US where this woman was killed. However some states do still allow marriage between an adult and a minor with permission of the parents. Once they're married they can have all the sex they want. ;p

I don't see what reality you are referring to. Any individual host is competing with other hosts. It does not really matter to her if they are on CC or competitive sites. If a host charges $3.00 and keeps this rate she is presumably able to attract enough memebrs to video to achieve her earnings target. If all hosts were charging $3.00 this may cause members to visit other sites more and so be of concern to CC but a few hosts at $3.00 is not likely to have a significant impact.

If a host wants to charge $3.00 or more per minute, that's their right, as is yours not to visit them. But there are enough viewers for whom price is not as important, which is why hosts can afford to charge what is in some viewers opinion too much.

This mainly affects glamour where some hosts charge these prices. Why would I pay such a price to see a new host with no guarantees of any adult activity when you can be guaranteed activity in not so shy or instant. I really don't care if hosts charge $6.00 a min but in glamour some prices are ridiculous. Of course glamour is the hot category now but it is not competitive with other sites. The prices here are the very best on the net except in glamour.

I've meditated heavily and prayed on your question and believe the master is trying to tell you to go back to fishing in lakes and streams, fishing in a parking lot isn't working out too well for you.

That depends upon her category. If instant action, she is required to strip right away so that definitely deserves one star. If she is in another category and lies about stripping to get a person in video, that also deserves one star. If she is willing to strip but it is clear she is asking 10,000 questions to keep a member in video and make as much money as possible, that also deserves one star. But if she is not in instant action and just wants to talk a few minutes before a show with the usual "hi, how are you, name, age, location" type of stuff, no that is okay and should not get one star. How much talking before stripping and what she will do once she strips depends upon her category. (instant action... strip right away, not so shy... strip in about 2 or 3 min.... little shy... strip in about 5 min, for example, if she is willing to strip at all).

No, I respect the wishes of the host. It depends upon the host and/or category if I will return, but I do not give a bad vote on the first time and usually not ever.

The American Dollar and You
A lot of hosts are complaining about the American dollar declining in value since they are paid in American dollars. I am not an economist or anything like that, but I will try to explain things in a way that people who do not know English very well will understand. Also, the issue is way to complex to discuss every single detail. This is just to give people a basic idea of what is going on with the dollar right now.
All types of money (currencies like dollars, euros, pounds...) are affected by things inside and outside of their countries. The dollar is affected by many things both inside of the USA and outside of the USA. One of the biggest thing that affect a currency is interest rates (the extra percent % that you pay to borrow money).
When interest rates in a country go down, the value of that country's money goes down compared to the value of another country's money. For example, if American interest rates go down but UK's interest rates stay the same and nothing else changes, the value of the dollar will go down compared to the pound. To explain the reason in simple terms, this is because a person can take his money and put it in a bank in UK and get more interest back than if he took the same money and put it in an American bank. (Remember... when you put money into a bank, you are lending money to that bank so it pays you interest.) The same would be true if American interest rates stayed the same and UK interest rates increase.
Right now what is happening is that American interest rates are going down because there are some problems with the US economy, mainly in the housing market. Therefore, since American interest rates are going down, the value of the dollar is going down.

To simplify - the US Fed created out of thin air gobs and gobs of dollars relative to other currencies. More dollars chasing the same goods. It's called inflation.

The Chinese, Japanese and OPEC countries have loads of US dollars and that fact has driven the dollar to record lows and it continues to fall. The latest word is that many OPEC countries will be swtiching to Euros, which will put the USA in a deep recession it may never merge from.

The value of a currency is like the value of a stock; its a combination assessment of both the present and future of the company or nation.
The US has deficit spending and and unbalanced trade deficit which are unsustainable over time at the rate they are therefore the world has voted with its feet but don't overreact either. Steps can and will be taken over time to lessen these problems...............

The fallout from the rating system. I had one beauty as my fave since April 07. She always treated me as royalty. Ratings were introduced, she hovered around 3.5 stars. My visits always boosted her rating .5 star. Now she is consistently at 5 stars and could care less about my presence.

the weak dollar is not all bad news. for American exporters, it makes goods cheaper to buy. for foreigners visiting usa, they can find bargins when shopping, etc. the big difference is that the in foreign countries it does not buy as much when compared to the Euro or BP.

They won't change from the USD because the Americans are probably the most important members for them. It's not because the cost will rise, it's because the cost will be unstable, and customers don't like flucuating prices. It's like saying "the price is about $10, but we won't tell you the exact amount until we talk to the bank." Would you buy things that way? So it is the merchant that miust deal with the confusion.
Besides, when teh euro was low, did CC lower it's prices? No. They took the extra money as they should. If tomorrow the euro crashes or the US economy explodes in growth will the host lower their prices? I don't think so.
So the fact is that the prices here will, indeed, creep up slowly.

A rival site to CC had the crazy idea of setting a USD 1 = EUR 1 purchase parity and make their clients pay in the currency according to their location automaticaly (ie, a european pays in euros, while americans pay in dollars and no ability to choose currency). That means that while americans pay, for example, $1 per minute, a european client pays a $1.5 equivalent.
That said, i haven't spent a cent in that place ever since.
As for setting a floating exchange rate prices, while it looks good on paper, that would bring lots of other issues in practise. First of all, the vast majority of members here are from the US and, for them, that would mean higher prices but also less private minutes as well. That would bring us to point zero again, IMO. Second, the foreign exchange markets work 24/7 making it almost impossible to set a fair (and actual) exchange rate at all times. CC is an adult entertainment website, not a financial shop.
That's my opinion anyway.

it's not because of the potential price increase it's because of daily price fluctuations - a viewer would never know exactly how much they were spending - they would see 2 euro and think 2 dollars and feel ripped-off when they saw the bill - the only way it would work is if there was a "choose currency" screen before they were allowed to log in or a meter on the screen like on a taxicab that ran in the currency chosen

That is the choice of camcontacts to switch currencey, but I for one would be a member who would reduce my visits because in the long run I will stick to the US dollar. It is down now, but has been strong in the long range look at the economy of the US and the world.

if you are marrying a member then he needs to do the finacee visa. He has at least 3 different papers to fill out and two of them will cost him money, the other one is free. After he does that, there is an interview process for you. All this will take anywhere from 6 to 12 months. You could marry him in Russia and I am pretty sure that would get you a visa to usa but it would take awhile. The marriage would be accepted in USA, I think. You could also get a fiancee visa, which would also take time, and you would need to get married within 90 or 120 days once you get here. I forget if 90 or 120... You could also try to see if a letter from the American inviting you to visit and showing he has enough money to take care of you while you are here would work if you are not ready to commit to marriage or to living in the USA.

It is difficult to get a visa to move to the USA unless you 1) have a job ready for you in the USA and the employer helps to get you the visa, 2) are married to an American, 3) are engaged to an American and will get married within a few months of your arrival, 4) win the Green Card lottery discussed in a post below, or 5) are a student coming to study here. There may be other ways as well, but even in all of these circumstances, you will be thoroughly investigated by the U.S. government before being allowed to come, especially since 9/11. It is hard even to get a visa to visit the USA unless you come from a more affluent location such as Western Europe since regardless of where a person comes from, the U.S. government assumes anyone visiting is really trying to stay here permanently and the poorer your country, the more likely you will want to stay. In simple terms, the policy is to limit how many people can move here. If your plan is simply to move here just like you could move to another city in your country, you are very unlikely to succeed unless you can use one of the five ways mentioned above.

If you have family here, that could also help you get a visa to move here depending upon the circumstances and their willingness to guarantee that they will take care of you if necessary. Similar rules apply if you would like to simply visit the USA and have friends or family that send you a formal letter of invitation. Finally, you could try to change a short-term visa to simply visit or have a summer job via Work and Travel if you are a student, for example, .to a long-term one by quickly finding a job or husband or something like that, but obviously the U.S. government isn't going to like such behavior and your plan might not work. Like I said before, the USA simply doesn't want people to come here in general other than for a visit and even then, the government can be strict depending upon where you come from. Of course, if you provide a benefit to the country like you are a doctor , nurse, computer programmer, or something like that, your chances of being able to come here are a lot better especially if you can have a job waiting for you when you arrive. I know many Russian programmers, for example, and there is a nursing shortage in the USA (although the qualifications to work as a nurse could be an issue). Sorry for the bad news, but this is how things are.

25 yo single female can pretty much forget it. You can try, but take care to not keep trying or you will be banned from applying. My friend works for immigration her in the states. But definitely have all your proof together you must present your case and be very very convincing.

For EU is different that the process for Russians. You really must be in a univeristy that has and existing exchange program with a school in the United States. Alot of pedagologic schools have them. Most of these programs are not in Hollywood but in smaller schools in North Carolina, Indiana Etc. Don't expect the schools to have an exchange program with UCLA or USC ha ha

It depends entirely on the host, I have many viewers who watch videos 121, with fone, and they watch what they have requested me 2 do, ie.Open Air Stripping, or Car Cam., or something risky outside. They ring me in 121 and chat as they watch. Many times I am available for chat in this category to, if not I post a message in chat window x.

Like I said, it depends on the host, every1 works differently here. I like chatting in playback, and so do my viewers. Of course when I have the house 2 myself I do Live Cam Shows 2. I have a family and other work comittments here, its not possible for me 2 have my cam on all the time. Also my videos are outside risky adventures, its not possible 2 do a live cam show of that.
