I think the point was, that for all the talk of being tolerant and admonishing others for daring to say anything unflattering about Romanians generally, it seems kind of hypocritical for any Romanians who took offense to that to turn around and speak of the Roma in the same way.

My opinion of romanians is not based upon any hurt or loss or anything of a similar nature . I am just stating in my opinion they are the least trustworthy . I will state that my opinion is a measured one based upon conversations with the girls . They are generally the ones who are most willing to get to know you , tell you their problems and if you offer help the first to accept without hesitation . This does not mean help has been given by myself . They are also critical about their own countrymen and how untrustworthy they are . Away from CC if you look at criminal activity in spain , portugal and across europe you will see high activity where romanians live . I hate to generalise but there is definitely something in the romanina genes which urges caution .

Problems with RO hosts… I think that is pretty simple… anyone who complains about an entire country because of the action of a few people is an idiot! The love, the caring, the compassion and passion I have had the pleasure to experience in RO is something I have never felt here in the US. When you remove the economics from life… RO and many other Eastern countries are MUCH richer then the US and other “great” nations. The value of family, true friendship is what makes them much richer.
For all those who like to judge… I hope that in 2007 you will finally love yourself enough NOT to feel the need to trash an entire population because 1 or 2 people hurt your feelings.

I have had the pleasure of living in RO in the past and am actually returning in about 10 weeks. I have been lucky enough over the years to live in several western European countries as well as a dozen states in the US. If you believe that they are all or the majority are scammers and gypsies… you really should try to open your mind, visit and see what the majority are like.

But lets just say it goes much much deeper then a few hosts asking for money for exams etc. The things that romanian women/men, will most likely never get mentioned here. Lets just suffice to say there were some pretty complex and long term dealings that just werent what they were portrayed to be.

I think bela70 is entitled to an opinion no matter how naieve that is , I just know that on this site and others ( not all adult ) that there is a distinct and common theme which makes me take the opinion that they are not trustworthy . I do not seek to say ALL are the same but the majority i have met are . In recent times there has been an influx of romanians to southern spain and portugal and if you look at crime in terms or burglaries , muggings and murders there has been a very sharp increase and if you ask the local police or see the arrests they are often romanian .

Most of them are gipsies UK viewer. Some have romanian nationality and some hungarian but for the spanish, portuguese or uk citizens they are all the same, meaning romanians. I know that most of the gipsies who do criminal things in foreign countries have romanian nationality but that doesnt mean they are only our problem. Europe has stayed away from the problems of gipsy communties from Easthern Europe for so many years and now when they are forced to deal with it they only know to accuse but not to give solutions.

Glad to hear you think I am entitled to my opinion. As far as it being naive… I beg to differ. As I have said I have had the pleasure of visiting and living in RO. I have met so many wonderful, decent and caring people there! Some I first met on sites like this, some I met in pubs, disco’s, on the train, on the street… all over the place. During my travels I have been offered places to stay, meals… you name it. My last trip back I was offered both a place to stay and meal because I had 28 hours between my train arriving and the check in for my flight! I offered to pay for the food, but was told I was the guest and it was out of the question!
This is something that would almost NEVER happen here in NY. Can you see the kindness that I am talking about now? Was this a horrible person? Guess what… they just happened to be Romanian!

the problem is not exclusively romanian...all formerly communist countries have this problem. in that system hard work does not equal results or better pay, and corruption is commonplace, so the people are always looking for an easy way out; scamming or on the hustle. that is what makes this site so appealing to young girls as they see thier friends work here and get some money and have nice clothes and cell phones...all for a few hours a week in front of a screen faking orgasms and pretending to be interested in old western men....

I was referring to the hosts on this site and just stating I would not trust anything a romanian girl said here . I stand by it . As regards Bela70 , i am sure you have good experiences but it still seems naieve to me that you do not accept there is anything wrong at all with romanians , I am also a little surprised in your comments about the USA , I know both countries and I know i have a lot more faith and trust in americans regardless of what you say and the hospitality you refer to in Romania I have received the same and more in states across america .

I never said that every person in RO was trustworthy… that would be naive of me for sure! It is the same though as in the UK, Thailand, NY, or anywhere else you will travel. You are always going to find both good and bad people…. This is life. As for my experiences, well as I have said I felt a lot more in RO then I have ever felt her in the US.

I think the love affair is over. We used to sms every couple of hours and have 121 for 2 - 3 hours at least once a week. Finally, I couldn't pay the bills, and stopped the vids. It does get easier to deal with over time and I'm sure that one day you will be able to look back and laugh about it.

Lesson learned, say "Stay Out" instead of "Don't Come In" this avoids the chance that some other household noise obscures the "Don't" and they only hear "Come In." Which can lead to rather, err, interesting situations as you discovered.
