Iain Dale, an openly gay Tory commentator who runs his own political blog, said: “It’s political correctness gone mad. The money spent on this stupid book could have paid for an operation.”
Tory MP Philip Davies added: “It’s this sort of politically correct nonsense that makes people’s blood boil. Nurses and doctors should be allowed to get on with providing care.”
The 54-page report is written with funding from the NHS in Scotland and backed by gay rights charity Stonewall.
It is part of an NHS Inclusion Project which has worked to provide awareness of LGBT experience in relation to health.
The NHS will now consider the findings.

Politically correct is such a crock of sh*t! Words are not offensive, it is the way people use the words that makes them offensive! So we should weed out the dictionary now? How about we educate the PEOPLE on little things like RESPECT? Would that not be a better way than trying to eliminate words from our vocabulary? It stiffles constructive discourse by imposing an air of sanctimony and a presumed unquestonable allowance for any person to assume even the most ridiculous stance of indignation concerning anything even remotely translatable as a slight of some kind.

one thing I would have thought would have made it harder (figuratively) for the men is the fact it is very hard , if not impossible to fake things. A few others---Master Tech, male member, OxYgen--- have tendered the only legitimate criticism of your request, namely your request for advise about a problem without stating outright what it is, then curiously asking the one responding to "start." I don't agree with Master Tech that it is "rude," but it is a bit odd.
