Reciprocating Saw
Did you hear about the couple that affixed a dildo on the blade of a reciprocating saw and turned it on and pushed it in you-know-where thinking they're going to give her a big thrill but the blade sawed through the dildo and into her? She had to be air-lifted to the hospital to sew her back together.
RE: Reciprocating Saw
Glad someone else tried this first, it had been on my mind for quite a while but we never got around to it. Now where is my nail gun....

RE: r.i.p jade goody
While i would never wish her harm, I am at a loss at working out why exactly she was 'famous'. The nearest I can get is that when she was thriving it was because of her being idiotic and someone to openly ridicule. This wave of sympathy is borne mostly because of media manipulation and guilt I feel.
I'd like to think her life would be a homage to the less privileged in life or cervical cancer awareness, but somehow it never seemed to radiate farther than herself when she was alive. Anyway, she's gone - I'm sure we will have plenty of funeral coverage and this time next year there will be a new victim for the OK and Hello mags and it will be Jade who? Ashes to ashes ... dust to dust ... magazines to recycling plant

RE: r.i.p jade goody
i agree, for anyone to die and leave behind children is very sad, but this happens everyday to someone and i don't understand what she was famous enough for all this coverage in press and even a mention from the pm. strange alien world i live in.
RE: r.i.p jade goody
It does seem strange to me too. When celebrity supplant heroism in peoples perception of achievements you do have to wonder if we are looking at things in the right perspective. When people give up lives and families to do great works, like being it working in Africa or India or any of the places where help is needed most, do they attain cult/celebrity status?
It is sad, yes, for any one to lose their mother so young and that she tried to provide the best for them in her final months too shows a form of courage in the face of inevitability, a little late to understand really but then not to take anything away from her, she was probably best know for her ignorance. To compare her to princess Di or Mother Theresa is nuts.
What is this world we live in when heroes are replaced by personalities and media spin? Am I really alone in thinking that the aid worker watching babies die of malnutrition is some far away place, or the scientist who works 24/7 trying to find that cure to save millions, or the grandmother serving food in a homeless hostel are not in some way a better statement to what you CAN achieve without 'fame'.

I never though i would ever say something like this but : I REALLY MISS CC !!!! with all the good and bad sides of it ! Is been 2 years since i gave up cc and now just looking thought the site i realise cc used to be a big part of my life, i got to met great ppl here, to fall in love, to be happy, to be hurt, to be sad but always offered me challenges, fun and excitement ....i don't even know why am i saying this here now, i guess turning 30 soon bringed out the melancholic side of me or is just the wine that makes my head spinning and get me in that hallucinated mood i used to be when hosting here(joking). I'm sure there are many others that feel the same as i do. I wish u all happy hosting, loads of money(in or out of your pockets) and try to get the best of it, it might not last forever! x x x
RE: memories
Maybe Alex was her real name and you are the one who didn't know. Or, maybe you are talking about two different hosts. Humm. Or just maybe, you simply like to try and make other feel less important than yourself. Wow, you're soooo cool.
RE: memories
Fantasy, while I don't think we ever met, I do feel your sense of connection to the venue. There are several I have met here which sparked a connection greater than the obvious. One in particular has left an indelible impression. Alas, she has moved on in her life and no longer communicates with me. Of course I am happy for her, but nevertheless still miss her laughter. Best of life and luck to you.. Cheers.........
RE: memories
Better work on those impressions you leave on the girls. So far I am still in touch with all the ones I really felt more than just a simple friendship connection. I never offered anything I couldn't give and I never asked anything that would make them feel under my wish and command or just uncomfortable. We just shared great quality time in text chat or vid. Some I met in real and they're still here. Some of them already left the site and we are still exchanging emails, sms, and sometimes phone calls. They will always be in touch with you if there was an honest feeling in between. Otherwise they will just go and leave any and all less than worthy memories behind.
RE: memories
Jimbo, you may be a stud extraordinaire, but that is probably the most pretentious and assumptive post I have ever read.
Lecturing someone on their degree of friendship with another while having absolutely no insight into the dynamics of who what, why or when, is patently absurd and utterly classless.

Jimbo is not referring to "conquests or sex." He just mentions true friendship. Your post and comments are totally out of context.
I've met people from all over the world. Men and women, boys or girls, and kept friends for long time. No one leaves a good and genuine friend behind. Just give it a second thought ;-)

RE: memories
Unless I missed something, the posting was most certainly not out of context. The poster did NOT ask for advice, nor was the word friendship ever used. He simply related to a personal experience.
Mr. Unforgettable (Jimbo) not only judged the posters relationship with another person, while having absolutely no concept of the circumstances, as the poster did not mention any details, but used his presumptive judgment to suggest the poster's lack of people skills was the reason. He then proceeded to launch into a self promoting diatribe into how wonderfully unforgettable he is.
While I am happy to know you are still in contact with everyone you have ever known, it has nothing to do with the original post. Mr. Jimbo's post was most certainly pretentious, self promoting, assumptive and callous Think about it sir.

accommodation in amsterdam
Hey i was wondering where to go for easter and decided on amsterdam and i found some very reasonable flights.
I use 2 sites to book hotels usually but everything on them seems to be over 3 miles from the city centre. Can anyone advice me on reasonable accommodation in the centre of Amsterdam I will be there 9-13 April and looking to pay no more than 100 euro per night.

RE: accommodation in amsterdam
hmmm ... Amsterdam, easter, sub 100e ... good luck! You're prob talking Hostel standard rather than hotel.... bathroom down the corridor and loud Germanic grunts and groans from next door. Leidesplein is the square where its at for pubs and eating ... but I usually stay at the Victoria ... but I usually go in winter when cheap deals are around. Its just across the bridge from the train station at the top of the Damrak so real handy for getting back to the airport on time! Its also one street from best shopping street, 2 streets from RLD if you feel like a different kind of window shopping :)
Dont be afraid to be a bit 'out of centre' - the trams are excellent - just get a correctly zoned strippencart every couple of days for where you want to go. It's the kind of place you end up wandering around anyway as its so pleasant to look at/experience.
Keep looking online - theres loads of booking sites out there .... but you'll be looking mostly at 2 star and maybe a far out 3 star or two at that budget ... but what the hell ... you'll be out all day and half the night anyway :)

RE: accommodation in amsterdam
I usually stay right at the Schipol airport hotel (Sheraton) where you have close access to trains, buses and taxis. The airport complex is a city in itself with many cafes, shops and restaurants within. The Sheraton Hotel is very lovely but the price may exceed your budget unless you wish to pamper yourself.
RE: accommodation in amsterdam
I saw sheraton for 500 and hilton for 400 but dismissed them as they r near teh airport. There r 2 tulip inn west and riverside, they r 300-350 for the 4 nights i'd like but only 3*, anyone been in them. I tend to go for 5* always when on holiday as I own some time shares and exchange weeks and points like a grandma LOL but this time I will be out and about, want to go to a gang bang club, see a live sex show, hire a prostitute lol these kind of things, so I will deff only sleep in the hotel. How about this one Best Western Blue Tower Hotel it's 4 star, anyone been in it?
RE: accommodation in amsterdam
I haven't stayed in the Blue Tower but Best Western are generally a reliable brand. However the hotel looks like it is still some way from the main attractions.
You could look at the Convent Hotel which is much closer to the action. It used to be the Sofitel and I stayed there at that time. Not 5 star but a solid 4 star. It is a little over yr budget but the convenient location should make up for this.

RE: accommodation in amsterdam
If I stay in A'dam, I stay at the Mercure, in the North East region. There is a metro connection to the centre at 5 minutes walk from the hotel. If you book in time, you might have a good price ( I have stayed there for 85 € a night...)
RE: accommodation in amsterdam
Sorry, South -East region, close to business park and Arena stadion
RE: accommodation in amsterdam
I have stayed there several times. Nice hotel but some of the rooms are on the small side. Also will cost at least 150 euros a night which puts it well over budget.
RE: accommodation in amsterdam
I have stayed in the Mercure and it is fine. However the Convent is a nicer hotel and in a better location. It is worth the extra 20 euris a night.
RE: accommodation in amsterdam
i stayed in Rembrandt's Hotel a few years ago now it was quite comfortable and looking on site 75 euros for a single room
enjoy... pity i cant join ya lol sounds exciting xx

RE: accommodation in amsterdam
Yes it is not a bad hotel, though a little away from the main nightspots. Also it seems to be fully booked over Easter.
LIfe...
...sucks. I don't know what's wrong with the female world. But I definitely know that something is wrong. What's wrong with values like honesty, truth, compassion, respect? Somehow I always meet girls who know these kind of words only from the dictionary...
...as I said: something is going wrong
...as I said: something is going wrong
RE: LIfe...
depends on the category.....and if this forum is only here to post sex-stuff....well, then a lot of posts have to be removed....
RE: LIfe...
right...it doesnt mean that who has sex and is here doesn't have those values...but well, I think that also some people here have other priorities in their live....anyway, my post was just a frustrating snapshop of my mood....
RE: LIfe...
Barney you are not the only one who feels this way. I have been shafted big time and am moving on, but i do not really blame the person involved personally. There are so many forces in each person's history and in their material circumstances that have a demoralizing effect, and ignorance plays a role too.
RE: LIfe...
I just mean that things like you experienced are to be expected, not that they are correct, and fortunately, there are a lot of nice exceptions.
RE: LIfe...
Being honest (like good manners) is justification in itself, it shouldn't need to have a reward...and the greatest test is maintaining personal standards when they are unacknowledged, not when they are.
RE: LIfe...
Lets see, we men pay to communicate with good looking girls - the more we communicate the more they earn ... so why would they not encourage us to stick with them by saying what you want to hear? They feed our fantasies 98% of the time ... sometimes it becomes more personal but you need to keep a bit more of a grip on reality mate! It's the entertainment 'business'.
RE: LIfe...
I'm not talking only of CC...I experienced the same in real life with real girls...what doesn't mean that this girls here are not real :-)
RE: LIfe...
Lying diminishes the liar not the person being lied to. Letting someone lie to you twice is another issue. Hang in there Barney buddy. I don't lie because it makes me feel sick. I lose respect for myself.
RE: LIfe...
Yeah Barney, it can be cruel sometimes. In my opinion, even though not necessarily always comforting, there are some great words of wisdom in this thread. "A little preaching" and "Ralph" hit on the karma aspect. "Less Green" , tells it from a "what do you expect perspective" and others, including "Sexy", "South America" and "Free to flirt", consider men just as guilty. Maybe "Pistolpeter" got the closest to the crux of it all and his experience in just moving on is the way .. Wish I knew dude , wish I knew. Oh well, ya got it off your chest, and just maybe one person reading this thread had a change of heart. Cheers and good luck.
RE: LIfe...
wise words :) ...I just spoke it out to let the frustration out of me. And if even only one person changes its attitude because of it...well, then it was worth it :)
RE: LIfe...
*lol* ...got me. But to be honest...I often heared about "being an angel" (not only here)...Nice, cute and sweet girls - and on the second glance they turned out, that they wasn't...just playing their weird kind of game...
RE: LIfe...
Life? Don't talk to me about life...

The dreaded "BRB"
Does anyone else get frustrated bye the dreaded BRB? Be Right Back in my vocabulary always meant a few minutes...Seems that it can mean a few minutes to hours to never...lol. Does this drive anyone else crazy?
RE: The dreaded
Yeah. i used to be naive and wait round when i got the brb... minutes turned to hours lol...
RE: The dreaded
Unless when in video, then for member it means seconds, but is bad when for host is becomes minutes or hours lol.

RE: LEGS
my thinking is a little plumy but long leg like of 170 cm owner ;) slim. and looks like model the Best leg I think, have never touched it, but as visual is the best, and sexiable and also feminine isn't it? :D
RE: LEGS
A fine question me thinks. But, does the answer matter, as it is between the thighs the beauty lies... And that noble sir, is what makes me pecker rise.

bank queues
a mother takes her 5 year old son with her to the bank during a busy lunchtime.they get behind a very generously proportioned blue singleted truck driver with a pager attached to the back of his shorts.as they wait patiently in line, the little boy says loudly"gee he's fat!"
the mother, furious, bends down & whispers in the little boy's ear that that was a very rude thing to say & he must be quiet.a few minutes pass & the boy, still stunned by the bloke's sheer girth, spreads his hands & announces,"i'll bet his butt is this wide."
the truck driver turns around & glares at the little boy.again the mother gives him a good telling off & tells him he MUST be quiet or he will answer to his father when he gets home.finally the large truck driver reaches the front of the queue & just then his pager begins to emit a loud beep, beep, beep.
truly alarmed ,the now owl-eyed boy yells,"run for your life mum,he's backing up!" :--)

That's what it feels like
A husband and wife are getting all snuggly in bed. The passion is heating up, but then the wife stops and says, "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."
The husband says, "WHAT?"
The wife says, "You must not be in tune with my emotional needs as a woman."
The husband realizes that nothing is going to happen tonight and he might as well deal with it.
So the next day the husband takes her shopping at a big department store.
He walks around and has her try on three very expensive outfits. She can't decide. He tells his wife to take all three of them. They go over and get matching shoes worth $300 each. Then they go to the Jewelry Department where she gets a set of diamond earrings.
The wife is so excited. She thinks her husband has flipped out, but she does not care. She goes for the tennis bracelet. The husband says, "You don't even play tennis but, okay, if you like it then let's get it."
The wife is jumping up and down, she's so excited - she cannot believe what is going on.
She says, "I'm ready to go, let's go to the cash register."
The husband says, "No - no - no, honey we're not going to buy all this stuff." The wife's face goes blank. "No honey - I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while"
Her face gets really mad and she is about to explode and the husband says, "You must not be in tune with my financial needs as a man."

That's funny, but I would advise against trying it. Unless there is a hospital nearby. :)
Gortensia Sightings
I saw her in Beverly Hills driving the car behind me. She was wearing sunglasses.
RE: Gortensia Sightings
I heard she got married to honda and they are expecting their first child
RE: Gortensia Sightings
i saw her on the tube in London, she pushed past me to get the last seat, she had Harrods bags on her lap.
RE: Gortensia Sightings
We better start plotting these on the map. Who knew we had our own real life jumper right here at c.c.?
RE: Gortensia Sightings
What's interesting about this thread is that 8 months (or whatever) after leaving cc, I'm sure the host is less obsessed about the site's members (whether they had visited her or not) than they are about her.
RE: Gortensia Sightings
Obsessive? To me, it seems more of a tongue in cheek commentary on a well remembered (for whatever reason) host. The thread is certainly more entertaining than many. . But, that's just my opinion. Maybe she will stop by and say hi . Then again, since I do know her, maybe not. :)
RE: Gortensia Sightings
but the members never get less obsessed with making up stories about them. only life they have
RE: Gortensia Sightings
WOW..I just saw her briefly. She was lecturing a taxi driver in Madrid, as we passed them on the way to the Intercontinental Hotel.
RE: Gortensia Sightings
OMG!! What a coincidence.
I was in that cab but I let her have it because she said she really needed it.
P.S. That driver did need a lecture, so it's lucky she came along.

She had a bit part in Watchmen - running down the street with all hell beaking loose. I couldn't see her face, but it was her for sure.
Similar Host Names?
I wonder how often two hosts with similar names get some confusion between the members who see them.
For example, if the name is sweetbabyx i will always think her name is sweetbaby, but maybe there is another host without the x.
Maybe there is no confusion at all because the member sees the profile pic before he comes in, and we normally use our favorite list anyway, but I wonder.
Would the host with name sweetbaby end up knowing or at least talking to sweetbabyx just because of similar names? Or would they hear about each other from members?

RE: Similar Host Names?
I dunno about similar host names, but I keep getting caught out due to people with similar member names. Hosts in community chat give me a hard time because I haven't seen them in while (I have never seen them) or because of something I said to them (I have never spoken to them). Very strange to see someone immediately launch into a conversation as if they know you, when you've never spoken to them before in your life.
These days I've figured out what's going on, and I can just give them a gentle reminder that I'm not the member they think I am, and suggest the "correct" name for the member that isn't me!

Okay. Her profile now includes a second person with no name and that has never been online, at least on her session. The contest is not for a few weeks. The anticipation grows. I believe that it said the new partner wears glasses.
Who will it be? What price will we pay? Sadly, we must wait. :(

Well..
Well, although I'm a Romanian also, and I am happy that I was born in this particular time and place, I've never been able to be proud of somebody else's achievements, I've always felt I am a citizen of the world and basically the same as any other person, of any color or shape.
I think that being proud because we belong to a certain group or nation, be it Romanian, American, English, French, German or Surinamese is just a cliche for our ego-s to be pampered. Yes, our ancestors were heroes and some of our felows from the same nation are heroes too, in their own, different ways. But I can be pleased only for what I personally create. Maybe I'm an alien, but, for example, hating a sports team oposite to one's favourite seems sooo childish... lol :)

RE: Well..
I dont think its a sin to have a favorite athlete and to be happy when someone from our country wins. By having a favorite and support him its not to discrimate other people. After all, thats what sports is all about.I have friends from all over the globe, but my country is my country and I am very proud of it and support all victories and achievements by anybody done in name of my country. I dont hate anybody from any other country and I support other people from other countries, its just that we need to support our roots and not forget about where we were born. In comm. chat many times I saw people from other countries talk about romania. I stayed quiet hurt in my heart, but i didnt say a word becuase i know they are wrong and they will talk more bad becuase of ignorance. If you dont suport your own country then none one else will.
RE: Well..
Besides the ego-pampering, I think some people might feel a deeper sense of national identity when it comes to sports and a romanian winning X championship. But it's his/her achievement based on his/her skills, not on his nationality. We should be proud to be romanians based on the character of the romanian nation, and personally I take no pride from this factor. Romania is a very nice country, sadly, it's populated, and its inhabitants feel a common bond even if they don't know each other mostly through sports.
RE: Well..
It refers to the behavior and character of some of the people POPULATING said country.
RE: Well..
While I agree with you we all are connected beyond the boundaries of geography, philosophy, religion or color, it is undeniable athletes and teams are associated with their respective "homes". The supporting of these competitors, from a local club to a continent, has always been a source of pride and , in some ways, provides a certain cohesive effect for that entity.
While there is often great fervor in giving such support, I do not think it is a given that those who do so, are not aware of the higher connection we share. And yes , no matter how much I would like to believe we have made great progress in understanding our universal connection, I am aware there are many who have no interest in seeking the knowledge. For if we all were to know this truth, there would be no wars, suffering or , in a simpler scenario, no mob violence during some football contests. :) Perhaps it is delusional to think all will one day see with a clear mind and heart, but it is dream with prospect. I know I still need work on the issue. Cheers.... :)

This thread is so funny!!!
It's called sportsmanship. It's entertainment and excitement. I am also truly against riots caused by football fans, violence and wars created by politician and believers. But to take a side in sports is fun. There is nothing wrong in supporting any team or any athlete from any part or country of the world. Its sports! It's just entertainment and there is nothing sinister in it. No need for brotherhood or citizenship of world lectures. I find it needless to say we are all friends and enjoy to help each other without labeling anyone as "stranger." its nice to guide a tourist find a nice spot in my city, or its nice to be welcomed when visiting others' home country. We need a little maturity and understand that to support an athlete is not an agression or offense to anybody. It's just very nice to see someone from your own country achieve his/her goals. Sports are just sports and were created to unify the world so please dont blame sports and athletes, they do the best to represent their country and their best rewards is acknowledgement from people of his/her own country.
RE: as are you...:)
FYI.. "Sportsmanship" relates to the participants. "Spectator or Fan Etiquette", refers to those who observe
For someone who considers the thread funny, you sure spent a lot of time telling us about your philosophy. :P

RE: as are you...:)
I understand what you mean but consider this; Sports are played all over the world, most often with no fans . If you play tennis with your friend and no one is watching, does this mean there is no sport in the game? :) "Sportsmanship", a lesson we all learn as children, is between the players. :) Cheers
RE: as are you...:)
and who play the sports when there is no fan watching? The fans themselves! most people practice sports and that's how they become fans. We are fans of sports becuase we love the sport and participate in it as well in some time of our lives and that's call sportsmanship!
RE: as are you...:)
Perhaps you might consider looking in the dictionary. Or, you can remain known as "DUH". That's your choice.. :) Cheers.

I am in love...
She is beautiful, she has a pretty face, beautiful eyes, long hair, she is tall, long legs, and so young. I can only dream of her all day long. She's so sweet, she won my heart. She never wanted to strip for me, but its ok. I understand her and she knows I tried hard to understand her. She writes me messages to my cc inbox whenever she's online so I can come and see her. She's never too busy or tired. She's always there for me. She doesn't want to depend on me so she says its not time to meet yet. She is studying to be a professional and she says she will meet me after she graduates in 5 years. She just started her university, she's only 18 I am 44. I think I found the love of my life... :-))))
RE: I am in love...
It would seem the art of satire and irony is dead...or at least the ability to recognise it
