If you raise the minimum to $1.00 per minute for little shy it will, I think, make a lot of members do far fewer videos and some members to lose interest in or leave CC all together. CC clearly has the statistics on how much revenue is generated per price per minute. I am sure they generate more in the .50-1.00 range than you could imagine. I doubt they would risk that income stream. I think the end result would be rather than increasing host's incomes which is obviously the basis of the suggestion....more hosts would be sitting around catching cold, listening to rock music, smoking cigarettes, talking with their studio mates and making far less money.

The rules about what is not allowed in each category are pretty clear. The only way CC could make things less messy would be to increase the number of restrictions in each category and maybe add more rules about what hosts have to do in the higher priced "harder" categories. I am not convinced that this would actually benefit viewers or hosts. I think one of CC's greatest strengths is its openess and the relative freedom it allows to both hosts and members. I sometimes like entering a hosts video not knowing what she will actually do, the idea that what sort of show I get may partly depend on how charming and witty I am. If I want a guaranteed show I talk to the host in ext first or make this very clear as soon as I enter vid.
Regarding price I am sure WTF is right. I have been/am a regular with several hosts and would spend time with them whatever price they charge. However if one of them put her price up to (say) 2.00 I would spend less time with them. But sometimes I feel like a bit of fun and none of favorites is on line. At these times I look eclusively among the hosts charging 0.70 or less. I may not spend so much during these shows with any individual host but the total spend on these alone is around $200 a month. If there were no hosts below $1.00 I would simply not do this. I would go for a walk, take a cold shower or (OK most likely) watch a porn movie instead. This spend would be lost to CC and the hosts. On top of this sometimes while I am browsing one of my favorites may come on line so I go and see her. I am sure that if it were not for the low priced hosts I would spend less here and may even have quit and moved on to another site.

I agree this site is very good - and seems to be the cheapest around - but many of the hosts here in little shy could not work on those other sites unless they were prepared to strip etc a bit quicker than on here. And also most of these other sites you have to be in video for free while lots of rude non members and losers ask you to show for free "and then I will go private for 60 minutes" etc.

I think you are generalising a limited subset of members. Of course there are some richer members on here who also use other sites and will pay more. But I suspect that for the majority of members CC is their main site. The backbone of CC membership are the guys like average Jo who like to chat as well as see shows and will spend a lot of money to chat for a long time to a low priced host. Many of these guys (certainly myself) would cut back drastically or maybe quit altogether if prices were raised. There are alternatives to webcam sites if you want some visual stimulation. Just because CC would remain one of the lowest priced stes does not mean a rise in prices would not damage revenue.

And of course since the minimum went up they also conveniently raised their 1-2-1 price to $3.00 a minute (which they feel absolutely no guilt charging a man they say they have special feelings for) . I always get a laugh when chathosts in supposedly "harder" categories get pissed off when someone mentions a host is doing everything in A Little Shy, even using toys, for 50 or 75 cents a minute. For some reason there is this misconception that hosts in that category should be nuns. If CC wanted to raise the minimum to $1.00 for Little Shy they would first have to revise the category description to make at least stripping to bra and panties a requirement for hosts in that category to prevent hosts from abusing the rules and trying to milk the viewers. Otherwise they would be dealing with a huge increase in complaints from members asking for refunds and claiming to have been scammed. And I seriously doubt CC wants to deal with that more than they already are.

I am angry because once last year my pc was playing up and when I clicked on the exit button just after I had cum after my usual 15 seconds my pc was a little bit slow in responding and I ended up going into a second minute which had never happened to me before :(
