You are asking a question that isn't going to lead to much useful information. There are many members on CC, but only a small number of them post, but these members don't necessarilly represent the general population of members.

If your goal is to take an average of the numbers you see, I don't think that will be very helpful. You would be better off asking LIttle Tech to post his update about what hosts charge. I hear he does this from time to time.

Presumably, hosts are charging what members are willing to pay for them. You could also ask a member friend to check the prices of some of the top hosts to get an idea what they charge.

Additionally, what is a "great" host, and no offense, are you so sure that you qualify? What generally happens is that hosts get their regulars that think the host is "great" and then occasionally get some other members as well. What you really want to know is what is the maximum your regulars will pay, not what the average member will pay. And if you don't have regulars, then unfortunately, that would probably mean that you are not a "great" host and maybe need to lower your price. Unless you are just curious, a "great" host probably would never ask the question you have asked. She would know what she should charge, and it would be a lot, lol.

Personally, when I choose to enter video, it depends on my mood. Do I want to talk? Do I want to play? Do I want a host that does something special in video? Will she only strip in 121? How are her pics? What is her rating? Is she a "friend"? Have I seen her before, and how much did I like her? All of these things and others factor into what I will pay.

Plus, just because I might, for example, pay $5.00/min in 121 for a top host on one or two occasions, doesn't mean that I will pay that price too often so a host charging that much must be able to attract enough members or a few more wealthy members to support such a high price.

There are simply too many factors to consider. Your best path is to experiment. A good starting point would be about $1,20 open with a 65% increase to $1,98 121 for glamour, little shy, and not so shy. Instant must be around $1,70 or more I think for open so try $1,70 open with a 50% increase to $2,55 121. You should also experiment which category is best for you depending on what you do in shows and if members want shows or just to talk more often.

There is a trend towards not stripping in open and only stripping in 121 for glamour and little shy so you could make this your "rule" and raise the percent increase if you are in these categories. You must get naked in not so shy (eventually) and instant action (immediately) if the member wants this so that approach won't work in those categories.

Good luck, but once again, experimenting is your best approach.

Well to my way of thinking $2.00 (121) is the magic price which is not only reasonable but also competitive with many other sites. Of course there is always an exception such as Tellmemoree who I would spend more for on a more limited basis.

I am also willing to pay more to see TellMeMoree as she is here not often and it is a special treat so see her. For others, $2.00 in open for Glamour is about the max I will pay. Unless especially cute like TMM

Judging by the prices the maximum that anyone seems to be prepared to pay is 3.50 open 5.00 121. I have not found any regularly active hosts whose normal price is more than this. Occasionally a member asks a host to raise her price to the maximum and during competitions some hosts increase their prices to improve their chances of winning but this is for special events only.

0.50 - 0.76. There are plenty of beautiful, sexy hosts combining brains and great English who will do all that is necessary to make me feel fully satisfied within this price range. Not a question of being cheap; the proper question is why pay more when it simply isn't necessary and you don't get anything extra or better. Many equate a higher price with quality and whilst it can be true it is just as often a fallacy. For instance there are some continental beers sold in the UK at a premium price because (say the marketing men) it is a premium product; whereas in the country the beer comes from it is considered cheap and nasty and attracts no premium at all. (The analogy is only mentioned in the context of economics, nothing to do with hosts btw.)
