Don't let the hosts cry "poor" too much. I spent a couple hours in text trying to talk to one of my sweet friends and most of the 2 hours the room was open in the background as I did other things because viewers kept swarming in to see her. it's like if she was a waitress working in a restaurant. I was at one of her tables but since she was so busy with other customers I was waiting quietly reading the newspaper and having a few words with her every once in a while when she had a moment. What the fuck is so much more despiteable in showing splattered brains in MUSIC videos than showing it in "normal" movies?
The western movies (especially the american ones) are SO FULL OF VIOLENCE that acpeting that, but crying about the loss of morals in music videos is more than hypocrit!

My comment was not specifically directed to Tatu, except as they are the artists you mention. Music videos by such performers are hardly mainstream. Such artists always hire videographers who push and break all limits. Keep that in mind.

Good point there, anon. Maybe part of the Tatu-phenomenon is still to shock and stretch the boundaries for what they can show within "normal" contexts like music videos.
Not surprising, since the producer (whose name escapes me) followed up Tatu (whose spelling escapes me) with a project where a girl dressed like a muslim terrorist sung some sort of protest songs.
But still I think that it's not normal for MUSIC VIDEOS to show this kind of violence, it's more normal in films, of course.
