some hosts around here are passing around in yahoo a link to a site that offers a program that promises to:
"lets you see anyones webcam in yahoo without permission or thier knowledge".
I advise you to NOT download it and certainly do NOT install it. it contains a variant of the W32 virus.

It may not be them doing it purposely. If it is a worm, maybe they are victims, too, and it has stolen their address books.

anyone who would download a program that would allow them to spy unknowingly on other people's webcam activity deserves to have their own system infected by such a worm... if you want to invade another's privacy, you deserve to have yours invaded too.. seems just to me.

i dont know/or care if the software works or not ( i dont intend to find out). The point is that advertising "view any webcam without permission....." is irresistable to many people, and is a way to get them to download and run the program thus spreading the virus. The file offerred is YCAM.exe, if you run it it will install nasty things on your system. Yes, the W32 virus is a worm. Ive been a network engineer for many years and this thing has gone around before. Yesterday a host sent me a link to this webpage/file in yahoo messenger. beware.

Expectations
I have to admit that there have actually been some rather interesting posts with real life value made in the last week on this site.
Many of the posts have been about relationship and of course due to the nature of this site about online and intercultural relationships.
When you find yourself in a new relationship, the expectations you and your partner share may or may not be the same for both individuals. Thus in my opinion those engaging in online relationships more so than offline relationship require a chatting solely about the expectations that each person has about the relationship. What are the rules for example? If you both can agree at the start there will be fewer unforeseen problems later. Too often I am reading about people getting hurt because of a difference in each others expectations that are discovered later in their online relationship.
If you migrate from an Online relationship to actually meeting someone in person talking about expectations for the meeting is extremely important. I said it before and I will say it again, in some ways a first meeting is still only a very expensive first date. This can be the most wonderful time of your life or the most disappointing; it depends on how honest you have been with each other and about your expectations.
With that said, for the majority here, the expectation is simply a show in exchange for money, in my opinion if you feel you are going beyond this level, then perhaps you should talk about expectations.

I have chat with quite a few chat hosts since i have been here and on other cam sites. I come here mainly to chat or see a show. I try to maintain my real life a secret. The person who i visit doesn't know my age, martial status, or what i look like. When asked I usually give some unbelieveable answer as i am 1000 years old. I make it perfectly clear that i am not looking for anything besides a chat and/or show. But what amazes me is the number of girls who either via IM oe e-mail claiming to love me. I even tell them I visited tons of girls and chat and do show with these girls. I really can't believe any of these girls really love me and i wonder how many other guys they actually tell this. I realize people have apparently fallen in love on this site and it has led to a serious relationship but the point with so many girls telling guys they love them, how can you believe it is actually love. with all due respect "not" I think that a woman's feet are very sexy indeed! The pics I have seen of 'most' of the feet shown are very well pedicured, and many of these girls know how to properly take care of their feet...Yes, maybe there are a few undesirable feet out there, but for the most part, the ladies here take good care of them! we hurt for others because we somehow care for them, or we can relate to thier experiance. without pain there can be no happiness and vice versus. the main thing to always remember is that no one can give you true happiness. true happiness comes from within, others can only add or subtract flavor from it. each of us must be responsible for our own true happiness otherwise we will be nothing but always disappointed.

Yeah, in my neck of the woods, believe me, I saw plenty of them after '92. About a month back though, I actually saw the very same sticker again. Seeing it now seemed kind of funny in an ironic kind of way.. I couldn't help but laugh;)

A guy is driving around and he sees a sign in front of a house:
"Talking Dog For Sale." He rings the bell, and the owner tells

good point moses, however and this is just my opinion, but I don't see the absolute rudness and crudeness that there use to be in the General Forum..........Yes, what you mention still goes on, but I think it's actually calmed down a bit. May just be the calm before the storm, who knows?

some of (or too much of) the good stuff can be bad for you
it goes around in a circle, but has different stages (slices)
(life is like that, you start bald, toothless and in diapers and you end that way too! hehe - some comedian said that, that's not mine!)
you can share different segments of you life with others - part (or one slice) you share with your best friend, another part (slice), ie intimacy, you share with your lover...etc.
if i think of more i'll add, if you like these

pizza comes with so many different toppings & so many way to make it.like life where there are so many types of people & challenges.it all depends on how you want to make it.sometimes we might take say anchoves off a pizza as we shed things in life that no longer are of use to us or we do not like anymore.just as pizza has a large amount of cheese on it,life to can be sticky & we need to get our teeth into it & our hands dirty to get the most out of it

Bravo, mistress isnt love grand. I just want you to know that i appreciate all the kind words you have shared with me in my time of need. I think that maybe you need some kind words too. I think what you do is great. although my gf has never offered me a free show, i dont think it is a money issue with us either. I think if she could she would but she works for a studio and she has a boss to answer to.

The host pretends she loves him thinking that this will keep him coming back to her video. The member pretends that he loves a host in hopes of getting in her pants for real. I've never done the first and the latter comes off as stalkerish.

I never said "I love you" to a man in video (in fact not even in reality hehe) but some time ago I really thought I was inlove with a member (it was at the beginning of my chathosting job). Thank God I woke up fast and realised it was only infatuation...and thank God that I'm not quick with the big words. I am sure most of the hosts in here have been trough the same situation at least once in their chathosting career. Just that some are quicker with big words than others. Of course, there are still the ones who trow "i love you's" just for the sake of earning the big bucks. But some are just infatueted...or maybe really inlove:)

Basically - fundamenatally - LOVE is the essense of our very existance. We all want to feel love and be loved. Problem is we tend to look to others for this experience when actually the feeling and the source of love is within each of us. For me i can feel love for everyone and everything but this doesn't mean i'm "inlove" with them --herein lies the 2nd part of the problem - telling someone that u love them can get interpreted as being "inlove" with that individual.
