No don't forgive him. Me personally, I would expect to be dragged out into a field somewhere and shot. Hitting a woman is the most cowardly thing a man can do.

I think it's okay for a man to hit a woman when she hits him first. Other than that, then no way is he to be forgiven and you should dump his ass!

I think it just depends on the situation. If a guy pushed me, I would respond with force back. I've been out to concerts where I've seen some girl start hitting a guy for no reason and when he finally goes to hit her, other guys hold him back. i don't like that because the girl totally deserved to be punched for that. The person who hits first is the one who is at fault and the one hitting back is just defending his or herself.

Personally I believe a man should NEVER hit a woman, even if she hits him first or goes at him with a knife. It's just not right.
As for forgiveness... it is up to you if you want to forgive him or not... but if he could hit you that time he could easily hit you again later on in your relationship.
I would say to report him to the police for wife beating/assault and to dump him and get away to start a new life without him in it. No woman deserves to be hit/beaten by any man, no matter what she has done.

What if she is physically stronger than him? Him being a man shouldn't preclude him from hitting back. I see lots of little dudes around that I'm sure I could easily defend myself from if it came down to it. If the person being hit is a lot bigger and stronger than the hitter, and the victim is worried about hurting the smaller person by hitting back, then he or she could hold the person down or just not hit back so hard. Someone who is weaker than you can still do a lot of damage if you just sit there and turn the other cheek while she or he hits you.

Depends on situation.But if it was advisedly and in soberness of mind then NEVER. Once I was told that if some man has hit you it will be repeated.So this is solved case.

i am not surprised he is a different man after 3 years together. question is... how much are you to blame for that change? you gave very little information about the situation in your post, but i know full well from experience that women love to change a man. far too often a woman falls in love with a man because of who she hopes the man will be in the future, not because of who the man he is now... and after time working feverishly to change him... they are not happy with him anymore when he has finally changed. so as i see it you have 2 choices... #1 you can accept him for the man he truly is and stay with him... or #2 you can choose not to accept him for who he truly is and walk away forever. the choice is yours. take off your rose colored glasses... stop looking at him as the man you have been dreaming he will become and take a long hard look at the man he really is now... then get honest with yourself and ask yourself if this is the man you really want to be with. if the answer is yes then accept him for who he is and stop trying to change him, because it is unlikely he will. if the answer is no, then walk away and be more honest with yourself in the future about the kind of man you want to be with and choose more wisely.

We cannot always choose what we are doing and end up with a job based on financial need and opportunities available.

anyone who would download a program that would allow them to spy unknowingly on other people's webcam activity deserves to have their own system infected by such a worm... if you want to invade another's privacy, you deserve to have yours invaded too.. seems just to me.

i dont know/or care if the software works or not ( i dont intend to find out). The point is that advertising "view any webcam without permission....." is irresistable to many people, and is a way to get them to download and run the program thus spreading the virus. The file offerred is YCAM.exe, if you run it it will install nasty things on your system. Yes, the W32 virus is a worm. Ive been a network engineer for many years and this thing has gone around before. Yesterday a host sent me a link to this webpage/file in yahoo messenger. beware.

I have to admit that there have actually been some rather interesting posts with real life value made in the last week on this site.
Many of the posts have been about relationship and of course due to the nature of this site about online and intercultural relationships.
When you find yourself in a new relationship, the expectations you and your partner share may or may not be the same for both individuals. Thus in my opinion those engaging in online relationships more so than offline relationship require a chatting solely about the expectations that each person has about the relationship. What are the rules for example? If you both can agree at the start there will be fewer unforeseen problems later. Too often I am reading about people getting hurt because of a difference in each others expectations that are discovered later in their online relationship.
If you migrate from an Online relationship to actually meeting someone in person talking about expectations for the meeting is extremely important. I said it before and I will say it again, in some ways a first meeting is still only a very expensive first date. This can be the most wonderful time of your life or the most disappointing; it depends on how honest you have been with each other and about your expectations.
With that said, for the majority here, the expectation is simply a show in exchange for money, in my opinion if you feel you are going beyond this level, then perhaps you should talk about expectations.

I have chat with quite a few chat hosts since i have been here and on other cam sites. I come here mainly to chat or see a show. I try to maintain my real life a secret. The person who i visit doesn't know my age, martial status, or what i look like. When asked I usually give some unbelieveable answer as i am 1000 years old. I make it perfectly clear that i am not looking for anything besides a chat and/or show. But what amazes me is the number of girls who either via IM oe e-mail claiming to love me. I even tell them I visited tons of girls and chat and do show with these girls. I really can't believe any of these girls really love me and i wonder how many other guys they actually tell this. I realize people have apparently fallen in love on this site and it has led to a serious relationship but the point with so many girls telling guys they love them, how can you believe it is actually love. The main objective really is to get members to spent money on video or sent money directly.
Members are the same way; I have seen numereous guys chatting with multiple chat host claiming they love her. Their objective free shows.

I agree with what PrairieFlower said. I can't believe I am bored while on vacation. But anyway, getting back to the topic. You need to talk to your partner of expectations and both agree with them. This goes for online relationships and also for when you get to meet in real.
No one can really know anyone and some people like to live in a fantasy world online, which makes meeting someone in real that much more difficult. But it is a risk that both have to be willing take if they do meet in real. It can a wonderful time or a bad experience all depending on how you both are in real life and if they talked about expectations.
In the end, everyone comes online for their own purposes and have their own expectations. If they do want to get to know someone and make it more than just an acquaintance, then both parties should talk about their expectations and come to an agreement. Only then, can a relationship prosper as long as both don't break expectations. Some people do find real love here I think, and I wish them the best.

If you expect to get some adult interactive entertainment, you have a good chance of succeeding. On the other hand, if you are expecting to "hook up" in the real world, you most likely will be disappointed.
