Well, not quite, you simply hide the pictures of the previous host and let yours. That means if the old host had pictures on 13.02.2003 , you can't have pictures at that date :)

The most appropriate thing for the Vice President to do, is just resign his position as VP. I can't imagine the administration indicating that this incident was "no big deal." The conservative 'belt way' is doing their very best to down play the entire incident. During the White House press briefing today, the administration Press Secretary himself told the 'briefing room,' after being asked legitimate questions from the press, "lets now change the subject please." Thats just it Tony, the whole "Cheney Incident" is still under investigation, it's not over with yet by a long shot! And it is very real and very pertinent; a man was shot and wounded while hunting with the VP of the USA. I am a voracious reader. I just finished a book "Behind Bars". A story of a female bartender in New York City. She worked as many top clubs and restaurants and made upwards of 1000-1200 per week cash. Anyway. She speaks a lot about how she cultivated regulars. Regular customers who came to the bar a few times every week and gave her decent tips were her bread and butter. She of course looked good, dressed provocatively, remembered things about the regulars..their name of course, their drink, their problems....she would always welcome them warmly and scold them a bit when they were away for a while. All in all she had a good 20 or more patrons who were good for 10 bucks 2-3 time a week. Reading the book...and it goes into more detail about the psychology and strategy of capturing and keeping a regular customer...I can't help but think that the host's here are really not much different. The names is different....female host vs female bartender but the games the same.... Any comment?

we have to remember that in essence this place is a BUSINESS for both CC and the hosts... however having said that I have made a few genuine friends on cc who talk to me on messenger, we laugh, we joke etc. as friends do. No pressure to come here and pay to chat.

Catering to a guys Ego, self esteem. The waitress probably did similar things with those who tipped her or frequented the bar and met her often. Flirted, smiled with them, laughed and joked with them, told them they were nice guys etc... only on here girls will tell you how great a lover you are, how they would love to have sex with you as well as the usual nice guy stuff.
It's all about catering to one's Ego.

WTF, I got the point :P I was merely pointing out that what they do are the same so why shouldn't their motives for doing so be the same?
The whole psychology of developing regulars is simple. A lot of the girls here know this 'psychology' whether they are aware of it or not.

As to your point about Ego yes you are right. In fact there is currently a program on UK tv at the moment about con tricks and one of the people in that is a very beautiful girl employing to some extent exactly that.
I am lucky in that respect in that I am such an ugly bastard that any even slightly attractive girl chatting me up would immediately set alarm bells ringing (Who am I kidding any girl chatting me up would set alarm bells ringing).
Having said that there is another TV program on, tonight I think, about why very beautiful women often end up with ugly men :) Maybe I'll get a few pointers :P

WTF wasn't comparing the actual jobs to be similar but rather the psychological techniques that can be employed in both jobs to get customers to return again and again.
As for not being able to ignore the Bastards, it is my understanding that a host can kick out a particular member from his / her chat room at any time, so this is not really true.
I could be wrong about this though because obviously as I am such a loveable person no host has ever kicked me out her room.
(They usually have the good sense to bar me from entering in the first place :P)

I don't think all attractive women go for looks alone... I know a few nice looking girls who are with average looking guys... mainly because they used to go out with good looking guys who messed them about. It's not always about looks. In the end some girls realise they need a real man, who can provide them with a stable relationship and not just sex. *shrug*

Yes..it is exactly the same...that is why I am so dumbfounded when a host will stall excessively, just to make a few more bucks that one time, since I will never go back to her..Yes she made a few extra bucks that time but probably lost hundreds in the long run

Unfortunately I don't think women will ever be considered as complete equals to men, I mean that generally women wont be seen as such. Though there are men who do believe women are equal to men. Just it wont be a mass/general opinion because society today is mainly run by men. All the most powerful and influencial positions in society are occupied by men... with the occasional 'token' female to show that there is 'equality' ... whether this show of equality is false or not is debatable.

I believe women should be treated as equals, but I don't think women should try to be like men. Putting all the politically correct bullshit aside, the truth is women cannot do everything a man can, nor can a man do everything a woman can. Men and women are different, and thank God because that is what we were meant to be. Rather than competing to be like each other or trying to prove the other inferior, we should be celebrating our differences.
