actually, in England the dwellings are built VERY close together, so much so, that one can literally walk from building to building on the roof. Do you think the "smoking" thing will be the 'deal breaker' in your relationship? I used to smoke, but it has been well over 20 years since I've smoked a cigarette. I don't know where you are, but I'm in the US where, IMHO, the anti-smoking campaign has---in some quarters---reached what can only be described as an "anti-smoking nazi" campaign.

I do not know which country you are from. I was at university in the UK more than 15 years ago but I think a significant number of girls I knew there would have not had a problem doing this work.
