I am not saying this is the case every time but sometimes the video and text can be a long way out of sync. What you see her typing may be the words that appeared on yr screen 10 seconds before.

I forgot to also mention that some hosts use translation programs so their is a time lag between them typing in their language and sending the text to you. These programs sometimes generate gobbledygook which adds further delays.

Not that I've gone with any illusions of romance or expected sex from them, so maybe that might be where you fell over.

So, I caught a bus to the Continental Hotel, walked down the street and went to a prearranged breakfast house. The next morning, I paid the hostess, and then caught a taxi back to OTP. My backup plan was in Frankfurt. lol
Been there several times since then on work related business. Did some planning on a housing project in Buch. that was financed by the US and Israel. Nice housing, actually. And the pricing seemed reasonable, I guess. I was not aware, at the time, of the medium income level.

I find it curious that hosts only ask other hosts how to increase there earnings. I can say that pictures alone dont do it. Sure they help a little. Why dont hosts ever ask members????

There are factors other than price and the way the question get posed has nothing to do with price. It assumes that price has already been taken to consideration. Then what other factors are important? Since hosts are happy advising each other with an emphasis on just pictures, not much members can add to help since you girls already know it all.

The puzzle games are designed to increase revenue for the site and the hosts. They work very well for that, but do nothing for me. It takes a lot of money to get enough pieces to come close to winning, and in the case that I do "win", I am only getting site credit. Not exactly recovering what I put into it.
Another thing is that hosts that are into the game go into "puzzle mode" during that time, which is that their purpose for being is to get viewers coming in and keep them coming in for as long as possible. Doing quality shows is not really a priority. So during puzzle time, I tend to stay away from video or go to hosts that don't seem interested in the game (yes, there are some, lol.)

Really hard to understand why hosts were eligible for prize moneys. Wasn't it good enough for them to realize increased revenues? Also consider the fact that there are far less hosts than the total number of members meaning hosts had better chances to win. Just dont get CCs thinking.

I have finally have gotten my need to post out of my system and am retiring my use of the name "Longtime member". I suppose that someone else may start to use that name, but it will not be me.
I never meant to be the "Longtime member". Many people have used that name before I ever did. I just happen to pick that name one day a couple of weeks ago and it stuck.
In terms of my reason for posting so much, quite frankly, I was bored. And it also was a way to keep myself busy without spending so much money in video chat but still be connected to the site. I have spent several thousand dollars over the past few months which is a bit excessive even if one has the money.
For those who have said I should "get a life", you are right to some extent. I was not working because I don't really need to and wasn't in the mood. I was in between relationships. And I like to do physical activities such as working out but I was nursing an injury. That left me stuck home watching tv and cruising the internet more than usual.
It was always strange to see comments that I wanted some type of power here or that acted like I was an authority of some type so that my opininions mattered more than another person's. I surely do not feel that way. The only thing is that I think that one needs to back up his opinions when possible. If we are discussing which is better, chocolate or vanila, then I guess there isn't much more to say than one's preference. But with many other issues, people should support what they say instead of making statements without backing them up. And rather than just let something go, I simply wanted to know why somebody felt a certain way.
I know that some posts of mine bothered a few people and that they seemed obsessive or even "creepy". But other than a couple of posts that listed a few hosts that I think should be avoided, I don't think that I began any negative threads. For example, in the viewer forum where there was a long thread about someone that criticized a particular host, the whole thing started with 1) his repeated criticism of the host at issue and 2) my simply asking why he felt that way. It was not until the member did not want to give a straight answer and then posted an answer that was ridiculous that I began to challenge him. Maybe I should have let it go once it was obvious that he had no basis for his opinion, but sometimes people annoy us to the point where that is not so easy to do.
I have always said that I don't care if someone agrees with me or not, but I think that there should be substance and facts behind one's posts. When I have criticized anyone, I have always tried to back it up. And if someone were to have asked, I would have provided more details if possible instead of saying something along the lines of "it is none of your business" or that "the details don't matter, just take my word for it.".
What I find to be "creepy" are people that would attack another person's character without merit or make baseless statements, and I apologize to all if I am a little obsessed with my search for accurate information. If I am obsessed with anything, it is simply that I want the truth to come out, nothing more, nothing less, even if the truth were to prove my opinion to be wrong. I guess that some people do not care about the truth and just want to vent. Others "can't handle the truth," because of their fears or their egos, but I am not such a person.
Granted, I may have difficulty letting things go at times, but certain things are worth debating. And for example, when one host on my "host to avoid" list attacked my lengthy posts, you may notice that other than one comment to someone on a sub-thread of a different post, I let her have her fun. It was obvious to all why should was making her comments so why bother to join in?
I am sure that many of you are happy that I am leaving or at least not gong to post very much. I must admit that I am confused as to why my critics would read my posts or even get so far into a post that is as long as this one if they don't like what I have to say, but I guess that speaks to something inside of them instead of something about me. In any event, I may or may not post at times in the future. In the past, I would just pick a name at random like most people, make a comment (sometimes even a short one, lol), and forget about it so maybe I will do that in the future.
The only thing I want to focus on now is getting back into the gym, enjoying the olympics, and either finding some volunteer work to do or maybe a new job if I find something interesting. I don't know how chathosts sit here for so long because after just a few weeks, I am worn out, and I am sure CC's staff that has to read my posts feels the same, lol.
Finally, I ask CC to let everybody attack me as much as they would like. Please do not delete this post or any responses to it no matter how ugly it may get. I really don't care what people other than those close to me think about me, but I at least hope that everyone will support their comments about me or anything else with facts. And I promise not to respond to any comments about me, be them negative or positive, accurate or inaccurate. Maybe people will say nice things, maybe they will say nasty things, or maybe they simply don't care. Whatever the case may be, it is fine by me.

I really don't care what people other than those close to me think about me, but I at least hope that everyone will support their comments about me or anything else with facts. And I promise not to respond to any comments about me, be them negative or positive, accurate or inaccurate. Maybe people will say nice things, maybe they will say nasty things, or maybe they simply don't care. Whatever the case may be, it is fine by me.

What a fantastic opening ceremony to the Olyimpic Games. It was just awesome. Good luck and best wishes to all the countries and competitors taking part and thank you China for a great show.

I dont see any reason to be cruel about things. The stories I hear from some of my regulars confusses me why people need to be abusive. Olympics
How many of you will be spending a substantial amount of time watching the Olympics and what are your favourite events?
I always look forward to both Winter and Summer Olympics and try to watch as much of the games as possible. I watch just about every event that I can. Most of the sports are things that I don't usually pay attention to, but every 2 years, I find it enjoyable to see something different. I just wish that the athletes were truly amateurs, not that a lot of them in the past ever were.
This time, I am looking forward to watching the American, Chinese, Romanian, and Russian Olympic teams compete in gymnastics. I also like to watch the American and Australian swim teams go at it. Volleyball (regular and beach), basketball, and the shorter track races (100 metres, et cetera) are also some of my favourites.
It will be interesting to see who does the best in the medal count. I think that Russia and the USA typically do the best with China a close third, but often the home country does better than usual. Perhaps China will come out in front.
