I met the woman that will soon be my wife on this site. She still works here and she's online at this moment. It's been a year of a nice relationship and great feelings. In today's world the idea of meeting someone online and pursuing a romance isn't uncommon. But there's a BIG difference between meeting a girl online at a dating site (where you know that you're meeting someone who is looking for someone them self) VERSUS meeting a girl at a cam site where her whole JOB is to create the illusion that she's attracted and interested in you.

I hate to be the wet blanket here, but I think you left out a very important part of the story. You said that you were starting to have feelings, but what about HER? Just because she's willing to chat with you when she's not working doesn't mean that she's interested in a romance or that she has any real feelings for you. It might just mean that she thinks you're an okay guy, a good client, so she throws you a bone and spends a bit of time with you when she's not working. But here's another reality check -- even when she chats with you and says that she isn't working, she really is. Whenever a Host talks to a guest away from work (whether its through chat or emails or whatever) it simply means that she's doing her best to keep him interested, so the guy will keep coming back to spend more money. So by spending a little time with you in a chat, she really is making sure that her income stays safe and that a key client doesn't stray far.

On the other hand, maybe she does like you too. Maybe she does spend time with you because she's interested too. But given the nature of a Host's job, I will warn you that the odds are not good here. If you read this message board, you will find hundreds of posts from guys who THOUGHT that a host liked them, only to discover later on it was just a game to them. Like I said, a way to keep you hooked as a paying customer. So, it's okay to feel something for someone. I'm not trying to talk you out of anything. But what I am saying (and many guys will agree) is that you shouldn't 't be a sap either. So keep your head about you. DON'T let her get away with things just because you online or because she works as a Host. If she won't do things or say things or act like a normal love interest would -- if she's always finding excuses for things or saying she can't do certain things like a normal GF would because of her job -- then that's a definite warning bell that she's just trying to buy time, keep you hooked and paying, all while not getting pinned down on anything.

Hello, Reality...I registered to a dating site long time ago, hoping to make friends..I live in a very polite environment, mostly like in UK.Outside people are very very nice and polite and...surprise!! Almost all men chatting with me on a dating site were asking sex from the first 5 minutes and behaving worse than my CC customers!
One kept questioning me like he would be Police and even had the courage to pretend normal coloured pictures, without saying any PLEASE!

When I wrote my post, I simply meant to say a more general point -- basically, that if you go to a dating site you're more likely to find someone who is looking for a DATE...versus if you go to a cam site, you're obviously more likely to find someone who is looking to put on a SHOW.

That's the big difference between a dating and a cam site -- on the other hand, there was a part I left out, so thank you for pointing it out. The truth is, you can also run into absolute total losers at either one. There will always be bad people in life no matter what -- total jerks who hurt your feelings or try to take advantage of you -- so you just have to keep your eyes open and not let yourself get hurt. But that's life, right?

So, sorry to hear about your bad dating site experiences. But if you're really a mistress, then I'm sure you took a whip right to them and taught them all a lesson! That will teach them to fool with you!

You are my favorite girl of the day and your story is heart warming. And I mean that honestly. You won me over the moment you said "I feel weird he pays to see me", so now I know you really DO love him for his personality and heart. When a guy becomes hooked on a Host and starts to fall for her romantically, too often a bad Host will ask for money directly from the guy -- giving him some story about how hard her life is or whatever, when she really has an okay life and possibly even a real BF hidden on the side. Or even worse, a Host might play the guilt game and tell a guy "If you REALLY loved me and cared about me then you'd keep paying to see me. The money wouldn't bother you."

And I wouldn't mind paying. If I was involved with a Host, I'd be willing to send money or be willing to pay to see her. I'd do all of that to prove my love or that my intentions were good. But I'd also expect HER to do the same thing. I'd expect HER to not charge me every single time I simply wanted to see her or spend time with her. When it clearly becomes only about the money that's when you know you're being played for a fool.

So good for you. I could hug you right now for proving how good a woman you are by simply saying what you did. Hosts and girls like you prove that there ARE good ladies working here...that love can bloom and succeed...so congratulations to you and I sincerely wish you all the best!

Of course chathosts are only human and have feelings and emotions,its always good to try and show a chat host the respect she deserves,i always try to treat people that i talk to both on here and on the streets the way i wish to be treated in return.

Why do 99% of the chat hosts say in their profile that rude people are their turn off? Are they referring to anyone else but rude men in their video rooms? In countless profiles that is the one and only turn off listed.

Not meant to signify that I am a caring person. The post below was saying why should we care what any other viewer does here. The name label is intended to suggest that I for one do care that other viewers affect my experience here.

It's your own interpretation. There might be different reasons. For example, the host may get just tired or want to sleep, or she might had some very important thing to do. When I was a host I asked my viewers to leave sometimes just because I had some appointment. So as they left me I closed session and went to do my own stuff.
If some host works in studio she might have scheduled time.If she works from home, where she lives with her bf or parents, she might come to cc secretly. Though, she may not tell you that. So if she might have someone at her door, so she log off, consequently the viewer who was on her video stops viewing her. Although, it might be a host who stopped the video, not the viewer. There might be some other reasons, so I don't see any reason to worry about the bad viewers spoilting moods to your favs.

There are certainly many reasons for a host to log out of their session. However, I am referring to my favorites with whom I typically communicate by IM. So their reasons are pretty clear at that point.
