RE: hy all here!

Hello Rose and welcome to the site. If you look on the side of this window i the blue section, you will see a long list, scroll down to almost the bottom and you will see the section Help and under that section you will see Software Manual and F.A.Q's

All your questions will be answered in those to sections, in the Software Manual section it shows the screens and describes all the parts to it.

If you look up that list a bit more there is a section called Revenue. click on that and it will show you what you have made each time.

As for the picture part, you can not delete a profile picture, all you can do is click on hide. To down load a picture from your computer into your profile, you will have to contact the site and ask them if they will do it for you. Otherwise you can not just down load pictures from you computer to your profile.

I hope this helps. Good luck to you and enjoy the site. huggggggg

Another one I will share-The Good Dog

A butcher was about to close up shop one night when a dog walked in, carrying a paper bag in its mouth. The butcher tried to shoo the dog away, but it wouldn’t leave. Instead it set the bag down and barked at it. So the butcher looked inside of the bag, and found some money and a note.

The note said:
1 lb Italian sausage
2 lbs Pork chops

So the butcher filled the order, made change for the dog, put it all in the bag and handed it back to the dog. The dog grabbed the bag in its mouth and left.

Well, the butcher was pretty amazed, so he decided to follow the dog, since he was closing up shop anyway.

He followed the dog down the street, where he witnessed the dog walk up to a street corner and wait for the walk signal. When the signal came, the dog crossed the street.

The butcher, now thinking that this was the smartest dog he had ever seen, followed.

The dog ended up at a bus stop. Several buses went by, and the dog just sat there. Finally, when the number 32 bus arrived, the dog got on. So did the butcher.

After a while the dog got off the bus, and the butcher followed. The dog walked down a long street until he got to a house. He jumped up to the gate and opened the latch, then walked towards the house. When he got to the front step, he set the bag down and rang the doorbell with his nose.

The butcher, witnessing this, was now convinced that this was the world’s smartest dog. He was flabbergasted!

The dog rang the doorbell a few more times, when finally a man answered. “You stupid, stupid dog!”, he said.

The butcher then piped up, “What do you mean ’stupid’? This dog is a genius!”

“No, he’s an idiot. He forgot his keys again!”

the worlds smartest man

One night, a Delta twin-engine puddle jumper was flying somewhere above New Jersey. There were five people on board: the pilot, Michael Jordan, Bill Gates, the Dali Lama, and a hippie. Suddenly, an illegal oxygen generator exploded loudly in the luggage compartment, and the passenger cabin began to fill with smoke. The cockpit door opened, and the pilot burst into the compartment.

"Gentlemen," he began, "I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that we're about to crash in New Jersey. The good news is that there are four parachutes, and I have one of them!" With that, the pilot threw open the door and jumped from the plane.

Michael Jordan was on his feet in a flash. "Gentlemen," he said, "I am the world's greatest athlete. The world needs great athletes. I think the world's greatest athlete should have a parachute!" With these words, he grabbed one of the remaining parachutes, and hurtled through the door and into the night.

Bill Gates rose and said, "Gentlemen, I am the world's smartest man. The world needs smart men. I think the world's smartest man should have a parachute, too." He grabbed one, and out he jumped. The Dali Lama and the hippie looked at one another. Finally, the Dali Lama spoke. "My son," he said, "I have lived a satisfying life and have known the bliss of True Enlightenment. You have your life ahead of you; you take a parachute, and I will go down with the plane."

The hippie smiled slowly and said, "Hey, don't worry, pop. The world's smartest man just jumped out wearing my backpack."

this one is about job searching-looking for a job:
Miss Jones was involved in an affair with her boss, Mr. Smith. Unfortunately, the relationship had reached the point where Miss Jones felt that she was simply being used as a girl toy, so she found a new job and went to tell her boss that she was quitting.

“Mr. Smith,” she said, “I’ve found a new position.”

Mr. Smith replied, “Great, let’s try it!”

Warning: don't lock your keys in the car

A blonde is driving down the road. She notices that she is low on gas, so she stops at the gas station. While she's pumping her gas, she notices that she had locked the keys in the car. So when she goes inside to pay, the blonde asks the attendant for a coat hanger so she can attempt to open the door herself. She goes outside and begins to jimmy the lock. Ten minutes later, the attendant goes outside to see how the blonde is faring. The blonde outside of the car is moving the hanger around and around. Meanwhile, the blonde inside of the car is saying, "A little more to the left. A little more to the right ... "

I bet that guy who does that, would call a locksmith if he forgot his keys inside that convertible car :D

RE: BALLBUSTING

From Wikipedia;

Cock and ball torture (CBT) is a sexual activity involving torture of the male genitals. This may involve directly painful activities, such as wax play, genital spanking, squeezing, ball-busting, genital flogging, urethral play, tickle torture, erotic electrostimulation or even kicking.[1]

The recipient of such activities may receive direct physical pleasure via masochism, or emotional pleasure through knowledge that the play is pleasing to a sadistic dominant.

From The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom;

CONSENT and BDSM: The State of the Law

font size
BDSM activity, even where clearly consensual, can be and frequently is prosecuted under state criminal laws dealing with assault, aggravated assault, sexual assault or sexual abuse. Such criminal prosecution can arise in various circumstances, including:

The BDSM “scene” turns out to be more intense or painful or harmful than the submissive participant anticipated, and she or he goes to the police.
Injury is caused that is sufficiently serious or sufficiently visible that it is brought to the attention of the police by an observer, by hospital personnel or by a friend or relative of the submissive participant.
The police raid a BDSM event and observe conduct that they interpret as unlawful.
A BDSM relationship ends, leaving the submissive partner with bad feelings, and he or she complains to the police about assault or abuse.
Someone with a grudge against a participant in the BDSM scene or relationship makes a complaint to the police.
Or pictures, videos, emails, film or sound recordings of BDSM conduct somehow come into the hands of the police.

Oh I agree they had to depart from the narrative of the books. I was just giving my consent to the way they have departed.. of course.. the cynical among my friends say it is just Falcon's Crest with swords and dragons but still I like the actors, I like the stories and I am looking forward to seeing some characters develop (assuming there are no unexpected deaths of course hehe )

For the record I also like Dexter as well, was surprisingly drawn into Elementary and think Person of Interest has hit a prescient winner with putting into a TV show what might really be happening across the world.

RE: A transgender point a view ~ ashleyts8in

It is a sad fact that many judge a book by it's cover which is true whether you are a man a woman or someone in between. What is disparaging is the ability we all seem to have to be able to judge others by our own standards and label people without actually getting to know them.

Being a chathost is like that on many levels, in that you are selling a fantasy with an image, an attitude and a persona of someone who although it is you, it is not actually you either. I used to qualify it as the persona in front of the camera vs the person behind it.

What we must never forget is that there are real people behind the camera, with real feelings, real emotions, real fears and real problems.

If you are happy doing what you do why would you stop it? And for every dozen people you make happy there will always be one who you can never make happy. That is the secret really. We can never please all the people all the time, but that does not mean we should not at least be trying to make everyone happy. It is just a case of seeing the right perspective and taking your losses when you can.

I don't know you ashelyts8in but I respect your choices in life and from knowing a few other transexual friends I know it means a lot for someone to just say live and be happy no matter what you look like, Who you are comes from inside you and those that see that will in the end make you truly happy.

RE: A transgender point a view

Never care about the opinions of those who are foolish enough to judge you. If you're happy then f**k them if they can't deal with it.

RE: A transgender point a view

Thank you for posting this, ashley. Variety is the spice of life, they say.
I suspect we are all misfits in one way or another. I'm certainly no different.

Perhaps it would be helpful to see that people who criticize you, who judge you for your lifestyle and your choices, project their own fear and discomfort. They don't know who you are. They don't define you. You are the one to define who you are, and you do that beautifully from what I read here.

Not your typical mystery film but perhaps try The Hidden Blade (2004) directed by Yōji Yamada. It is a Japanese film and so you will need to get subtitles for your region or you can use the English ones of course. Not so much a who done it but I found it a compelling story and it kept me guessing till the end what would happen. I like those sort of films which break conventionality.

Instructions Needed by TheMaskMan

When I was 14, I hoped that one day I would have a girlfriend.
When I was 16 I got a girlfriend, but there was no passion, so I decided I needed a passionate girl with a zest for life.
In college I dated a passionate girl, but she was too emotional. Everything was an emergency; she was a drama queen, cried all the time and threatened suicide. So I decided I needed a girl with stability. When I was 25 I found a very stable girl but she was boring. She was totally predictable and never got excited about anything. Life became so dull that I decided that I needed a girl with some excitement. When I was 28 I found an exciting girl, but I couldn't keep up with her. She rushed from one thing to another, never settling on anything. She did mad impetuous things and made me miserable as often as happy. She was great fun initially and very energetic, but directionless. So I decided to find a girl with some real ambition.
When I turned 31, I found a smart ambitious girl with her feet planted firmly on the ground and married her. She was so ambitious that she divorced me and took everything I owned.
I am now older and wiser, and am looking for a girl with big tits.

mechanics of life

The inventor of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle, Arthur Davidson, died and went to heaven.
At the gates, St. Peter told Arthur.
"Since you've been such a good man and your motorcycles have changed the world, your reward is, you can hang out with anyone you want to in heaven."
Arthur thought about it for a minute and then said,
"I want to hang out with God."
St. Peter took Arthur to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God.
God recognized Arthur and commented,
"Okay, so you were the one who invented the Harley-Davidson motorcycle? "
Arthur said, "Yeah, that's me..."
God commented:
"Well, what's the big deal in inventing something that's pretty unstable, makes noise and pollution, and can't run without a road?"
Arthur was a bit embarrassed, but finally spoke, "Excuse me, but aren't you the inventor of woman?"
God said, "Ah, yes."
"Well," said Arthur, "professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention !
1. There's too much inconsistency in the front-end suspension
2. It chatters constantly at high speeds
3. Most rear ends are too soft and wobble about too much
4. The intake is placed way too close to the exhaust
5. The maintenance costs are outrageous!!!!
"Hmmmmm, you may have some good points there," replied God,"hold on."
God ! went to his Celestial supercomputer, typed in a few words and waited for the results.
The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it.
"Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed," God said to Arthur, "but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours."

Independence Day: 4th of July

happy 4th to all our neighbors, friends, and family. The Great Red Skelton said it best when he made this speech. "Boys and girls, I have been listening to you recite the Pledge of Allegiance all semester and it appears that it has become monotonous to you or could it be you do not know the meaning of those words. If I may, I would like to recite the Pledge and give to you a definition of the words.
I----meaning me, an individual, a committee of one.
Pledge----dedicate all of my worldly goods to give without self pity.
Allegiance----my love and my devotion.
To the Flag----our standard, Old Glory, a symbol of freedom. Wherever she waves, there is respect because your loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts freedom is everybody's job.
Of the United----that means that we have all come together.
States----individual communities that have united into 48 great states. 48 individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose, all divided with imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common cause, and that's love of country.
Of America.
And to the Republic----a republic, a state in which sovereign power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people and it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.
For which it stands!
One nation----meaning, so blessed by God.
Indivisible----incapable of being divided.
With Liberty----which is freedom and the right of power to live one's life without threats or fear or any sort of retaliation.
And justice----The principle and quality of dealing fairly with others.
For all.----which means, boys and girls, it's as much your country as it is mine."

Since I was a small boy, two states have been added to our nation, and two words have been added to the Pledge of Allegiance "under God." Wouldn't it be a pity if someone said, "That's a prayer" and that would be eliminated from schools, too?

I'm an Englishman who studied the American Constituion with great interest, particularly because we British were the bad guys. I would be grateful if you could define the concept of 'America', the ideology which informed the formation of the USA. I always understood it to be fundamentally as anti-european, no kings/queens, no social heirarchy......."All men are born equal.....".

Thank you.

RE: Independence Day: 4th of July

Well, you first need to look at 'America' then versus 'America' now.

America back at the time of the American Revolution was not necessarily anti-European and everything else on your list. After all, Americans had their roots in Europe, much stronger roots than today. And there had just been a war between France and England for control of America. In fact, George Washington was in the British army, a colonel, I believe. And immediately after the American Revolution and the War of 1812, America continued to have strong ties to England, just as we do now.

Americans simply didn't like the idea of some guy thousands of miles across a big ocean telling them what to do and not even having any type of real voice in Parliament. In essence, Americans were second class citizens and didn't like it. They were taxed without representation. There were limits on having guns which is not a good thing if you live in or near the wilderness. There was no right to keep British soldiers from saying "Hey. We don't care if this is your home. We're bunking here for the night.'

It got bad enough that Americans revolted against the most powerful country on Earth. Think about that. Either Americans were incredibly stupid or incredibly pissed off to be willing to take on such an empire. That's how bad things got in their opinion. Had England taken the situation more seriously at the beginning, and had the French not helped, we'd all probably have British accents right now, lol.

In any event, this was a war about freedom from what was viewed as tyranny. But it wasn't about being anti-Europe. And it certainly wasn't about freedom for all. 'All men are created equal?' Ha! Not all women too, and definitely not all men either. There was slavery, after all, for close to 100 years after the revolution began.

This was about the rights of white men, and in large part, white, property-owning men. It took a long time before it became a country where everyone is, at least theoretically, equal, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or gender. We're still working on the sexual preference thing.

Still, while the United States didn't invent democracy, clearly it is the major influence in spreading it and maintaining it throughout the world. In fact, most other countries are going to have democracy whether they like it or not if you look at some of the the USA's actions, lol. We do tend to get involved when perhaps we should not. But generally speaking, the USA does more good than bad in terms of pushing governments around the world towards freedom for their people.

Are we saints? No. Are we hypocritical at times? Of course. But when you look at our history, like I said, we have done a lot more good than harm. I doubt Eastern Europe, for example, would be as free as it is right now but for the USA and the West standing up to the Soviets. If President Reagan didn't basically say to Russia 'Okay. You want a nuclear arms race? I'll give you a nuclear arms race!' and basically push Russia towards economic destruction, there still might be an 'Iron Curtain'. It was Western influence, led by the USA, that led to the fall of the Soviet Union. And similar things have happened around the world.

But yes, the people on the ground.. the citizens of a given country... must also fight and risk their lives for freedom. We did it here with the help of France, and now people around the world do it with the assistance of the USA and other countries, mainly those in Western Europe. Nobody usually can do it all by themselves. There are always outsiders helping.

So what is 'America' today? I would say that it is a symbol of 'liberty and justice for all'. It is something to aspire to. The reality might not be quite the same as the ideal at all times, but generally speaking, we do a pretty good job.

Also, in terms of your question, note that Americans have a desire to be left alone and not being told what to do. Our country was founded on this ideal. And we want our guns to make sure that you do leave us alone, lol. When I travel, I go from a country where I might be shot to a country where I might just be robbed. Think I will visit you soon, lol.

Our philosophy all started with the Revolution and ideas of 'no taxation without representation' and 'don't tread on me'. It moved onto President Washington's philosophy of avoid any foreign entanglements. Then, it was represented by President Monroe's 'doctrine' that basically said 'Hey. You stay in your hemisphere, and we'll stay in ours.' After that, you had World War I where we were late to the party. Then, you had the League of Nations, which, while founded by President Wilson was rejected by the Congress of the U.S. And finally, you had World War II where, once again, we were late to the party. You see, for the most part, our whole history until after World War II was trying to stay out of things, mind our own business, and be left alone. It isn't about being anti anything except getting involved or being told what to do.

What happened after World War II? Simple. The stakes got higher, and we no longer could mind our own business. We were in a nuclear age and were up against an 'enemy' in the Soviet Union which had a philosophy of spreading communism throughout the world, which is clearly in conflict with our view of freedom. So what did we do? We decided to spread democracy throughout the world, and we haven't stopped, nor will we. The stakes are still too high, especially now that we have a world with not just nuclear weapons but terrorism too. The philosophy is simple: if people are free then they will be our friends so they won't want to hurt; therefore, they're going to be free whether they like it or not.

But we do not do it all alone. Again, other countries help and so do the citizens on the ground. Just look at the pictures from Egypt. But we are still there. We are always there. The Egyptian army, for example, has very strong ties to the United States.

We are the symbol of democracy and freedom. And we are the most powerful country in the world. It does NOT mean we are the best, just the most influential.

I laugh at the posts a few years back when people thought the U.S. economy was going down the drain and China was going to take over the world. Anyone like to revisit those notions? How's Europe doing? And China is having its issues too. And trust me, if the USA goes down the drain the rest of you are soon to follow so make sure you pray for us even if at times you resent our influence, lol.

And by the way, never think that the average American wants to tell the rest of the world what to do. We really do not care. We do not even need your oil any more, or at least soon won't. The main issue is terrorism in a nuclear age. That's the true reason we care, but that is about self-preservation, not about worrying who is free and who is not.

And I don't care where you live, we all have a stake in this fight. The USA could back away from having our soldiers on what some terrorists view as 'holy ground' and divorce itself from influence in other countries, and the world would be left with a bunch of insane people with nuclear weapons. You really want to risk that situation? Sorry, but we're all stuck with each other.

So, on this birthday of America, be happy we're still here. Don't love us if you do not want, but at least tolerate us and be grateful for what we have done. Many of you, particularly many hosts, would not have the freedoms you have right now if it was not for American efforts combined with a few other main players in Europe, and let's not forget Canada and Australia too. And respect the sacrifices that not just the American taxpayer has made for you, but what the American soldier has done for you as well.

Nobody gives you freedom. You pay for it with money and unfortunately, with blood, too. To think about the courage that those British subjects must have had a few hundred years ago to fight for their rights is truly humbling. And we see the same fights in Africa and the Middle East today. This is what America is now. A symbol of having the courage to fight that fight for freedom for all. The reality may sometimes differ, but the ideal will never change.

But we're not better than you are. We were just lucky. We grew up far away from everyone. We didn't grow up with hundreds of years of ethnic tensions dividing us. We have one overriding culture, namely a passion to be free. We, for the most part, have one language. And we were fortunate enough to have a few extremely intelligent men draw up a Constitution that continues to do the job, generally speaking.

What does Europe have, for example? A history of nobody getting along and many different cultures and languages, sometimes within just one country. Everyone thinks differently. How are you supposed to be a united E.U. in that type of situation? We aren't anti-European. If anything, Europeans are anti-European, lol.

The USA started in a similar way for a few years. We were 'states' which means we were individual 'countries' in a manner of speaking with a very loose connection. That didn't work so within a few years we formed a much stronger union with our Constitution. You should know this if you studied our Constitution.

How does our Constitution that you studied start? 'We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America'.

We just wanted to be free and have a better life, and we didn't have the encumbrances of a history of conflicts among ourselves and threats from the outside to get in our way. That's why we are strong and united. After the Revolution, we had one major war with England and the Canadian border was drawn, and we had one major war with Mexico and the Mexican border was drawn. That was it. Compare that to Europe and other places around the world, lol. You guys get a final map yet? lol.

There really is no American culture like there is in other countries. The USA is just a bunch of people wanting to be free and able to make a better life for themselves. That's why we had a revolution. That is why we pledge allegiance to our flag and our national anthem is a tribute to it. Our flag stands for freedom! And we are so different and from so many backgrounds that there isn't any way for little pockets to start forming and battling one another to ruin everything. We might be a diverse people in our homes, but we are united by our desire to be free and to be left alone without anything strong enough to divide us.

That is our culture and we are proud of it. We rally around our flag since it is a symbol of the ideal that most people all over want more than anything... namely, a desire to be free. That is what we stand for. And we are damn lucky to be living here and enjoying the sacrifices of those that came before us.

That is America.

RE: Independence Day: 4th of July

Thanks for all the trouble you went to. I envy you the passion you have for your country.

In the UK, Scotland may be leaving the union. Also, we native English feel we've lost our identity, e.g. I must put White Britsh as my ethnicity, I can't just say I'm English. The EU does most of the governance that matters. In my home town London, the English are now a minority.

My generation feel it's a case of sins of the fathers...., i.e. we inherited a collapsed empire and now pay for all its failures. Maybe the UK should be dissolved and England should be independent and apply to be yet another EU client state.

Yes, USA must prevail for everybody's sake. God bless Uncle Sam.
