Question for members!!
When I am chatting with a memeber in my room chat, or even in community chat I don't like to ask him to join me in vid, and one of my regular viewers asked me why I don't ask him to go to vid when its obvious I want him to join me.
When you are in a room text chat, or even in community chat, how do you feel about the host asking you to join them in vid?

Well Mousie, I'll happily answer you: it is a real dilemma: we all know 99% of the host wants to see a member for money. Very few are longing to see a member for other reasons (friendship?yearning for a normal meeting after weird videos...). The keyword is 'obvious': how can a member know an host wants company for 'normal' reasons. For me, one indication is when the host gives her personal address (which is allowed in private sessions, btw). And for me, it is also about time: intuition from both sides: then, I don't mind at all an host ask me to see me.
And frankly, Mousie, you behave on a too modest manner here. You notice how others behave more aggressively!

I don't ask them to join Me in video. Instead, I ask them to "do the right thing right NOW".
Seriously, if they don't bring it up themselves, after 5-10 mins of text chat, then go ahead and suggest it yourself, not in an aggressive manner if that's not your thing, but an invitation such as "wouldn't you rather see and hear me".

Hi...I do not mind being asked after a time in community by a host, but it should be in PM instead of general chat...This prevents me having to say No to the host in general but it can be in pm if I so choose to say no....I prefer not being asked the minute I arrive there, because I want to read what the topic is first in case I want to join the topic...I feel that either can at anytime choose to stop text chat....I know that sometimes I want to continue chatting in text, but I do not wish to spend money for video at that time, but I also do not want the host to feel she must continue...It is both of our choices when either wants to stop it

Well NIco. If I am in your room chat I am already seriously thinking of a vid and it will likely naturally evolve to that without too much persuasion. I don't at all mind being invited to vid and I know you will not be offended if I decline sometimes. Likely I will vid if I have time and money and mood. In comm chat I am often there to socialize and see who is there and just have some fun. PM with friends and possible vid. I am less likely to respond to invitations in that setting but I am not offended at the invitation (except some hosts I barely know who attack with PMs the minute I enter) I hope this helps

I think different members will respond differently. And it is a difficult and ultimately intuitive task for a host to figure out how to get a vid. I know many members in the chat room get grouchy with never ending pms in the chat room. Personally I think if you wish to develop a "regular" a slow flirty process of "chatting them up" will probably work best. And using a bit of imagination to get beyond the highly repetitive "r u horny?" will likely yield you more business. Good luck, this is not an easy job for a host!

In your text chat I would say within 5 -10 minutes you have the right to ask. He (or she) is monopolizing your time and beyond that he is jerking you around. A reasonable approach for the host may be to say: "How can I make your day better today?" or "How can I help you today?" or "What kind of things would you like to do in vid today."

Who knows me knows that this never ask for people who speak neither first nor the friends that I met here ( nice people ) . Although the bounty of the summer of 1621 brought a time of heartfelt gratitude (the first Thanskgiving), the Pilgrims’ obligation to repay the backers who had financed their voyage left them dangerously close to starvation. Food stores had all but disappeared.
At one point, a daily ration of food for a Pilgrim was 5 kernels of corn. With a simple faith that God would sustain them, no matter what, they pulled through. History records that not a single one of them died from starvation that winter. Not a one.
The harvest of 1623 brought a surplus of corn, so much that the Pilgrims were able to help out the Indians for a change. So joyous were they that they celebrated a second Day of Thanksgiving and again invited Massasoit to be their guest.
He came, bringing with him his wife, several other chiefs and 120 braves. All sat down to a feast of 12 venison, 6 goats, 50 hogs and pigs, numerous turkeys, vegtables, grapes, nuts, plums, puddings and pies. But, lest anyone forget, all were given their first course on an empty plate.

My only annoying issue is the comm chat sidebar. When I scroll up or down to see who is there, the side bar always starts to act up and I have to leave and re-enter to correct it. Only for it to act up again minutes later. This was a issue for me last year and when I try again last week the same problem continues. I have never had any issues with Rosa or any of the friends I made here, so the only thing I can say about that is not everyone likes or gets along with everybody, just get in where you fit in and stay in your lane and you wont need the ignore button.

I know you don't get credit were credit is due from a lot of us old members , so I give you all thanks for the years of your service you have given to us and the fun, sad, good, bad and all that stuff, so I want to thank you all and especially all you cc winners over the last 14 years. Now I have to take a break and have surgery, so if all goes well, I will be back, and thanks again cc for the great times.
