This is the typical game that the Hosts always play. You girls can be such hypocrites. You girls always complain "We are people first of all with feelings" which means you want the guys to treat you like total princesses. You want us to be nicer in your chat rooms and you want us to respect you as women with real feelings. But then you turn right around and say "Not every I love you is honest here" which means you're admitting that the Hosts ARE players who will say whatever it takes to screw with a guy's head (and his heart) to keep the money flowing.
That's why so many guys treat you girls badly online. It's payback for all the times a Host told a guy she loved him and he maxed out his credit cardd believing her. But then comes the day when a Host finally tells him she has a BF or husband at home, and the poor guy feels stabbed in the heart. So here's a lesson for the Hosts to learn. If you want to be respected as women with feelings do the same towards the guys. Stop being such con artists. Respect our feelings TOO. And don't give me that standard excuse that since this is a cam site and since you come from a poor country then all of the lying and game playing is justified. It's not. In fact, here's the easy lesson to learn: Be nice and be honest. Otherwise what goes around will come around.

This is one argument the Hosts have NO chance of winning. MonikaBabe you said you tell guys up front that your not here for love or to meet in real life. Good for you. Your an honest cam girl who sets a guy straight from the start. But you proved "Give Me's" point. You said don't expect the girls to say they're just here for work and money because it's bad for business, so you can't blame them. Huh? Why can't we blame them? Members don't have to say anything or promise anything to see the goodies. Unless the Host is working in a category like Shy where she can be more reserved about undressing you're paid to show the goodies. If you weren't showing the goodies I'd be contacting customer service and demanding my money back.
For someone so young you seem to have developed a pretty cynical outlook on life at an early age. Maybe that's because of how you earn your money but you are wrong. I don't think that people are surprised lying is taking place. What I think people are complaining about is that it's happening more than ever before. I think that's because the economy is slowing down, so there aren't as many customers and the Hosts are finding it harder to make money. And that's what we're really seeing in this thread. The guys who can still afford to have cam fun are complaining about being lied to so much. They are arguing from a moral stand point about what is right and wrong. Meanwhile the Hosts are defending the lying because they need to make money any way possible so to them its become an acceptable tactic. They're arguing from a business stand point and to them the ends justify the means.

This is strange logic used to justify wrongs against another. I.e.. one man did this to me so it's ok if I do something bad to another man. Lumping people together in a group as if one member of that group is responsible for the behaviour of others.

Couldn't agree more. Last year I was involved with a Host very seriously. We spent months together and even talked about settling down. She said she loved me and I fell hard for her. Then one day she tells me she's gone back to an old BF. With a snap of her fingers it was over and all our time meant nothing.

Things would be better if Hosts were honest with guests about why they're here. Stop with the "I'm single and looking" mind game if you have a real BF at home. Do your job, get a guy off, get your money, and be done with it. If a guy starts to see you regularly because he's hoping for romance you should tell him you're unavailable and admit your real situation. Be a woman and treat him like a human being. Don't lead the guy on and destroy him so you can pocket another 50 bucks.

But what if you really fall for someone? It can happen. I doubt many come here actually looking, but that doesn't mean you can't then fall for a certain girl. If she then lies to you then I think that's something to be annoyed about.

Joking aside, I don't think it's as clear cut as you put it. There's nothing on this site that says "this is a fantasy site". There is deliberately creating a SEXUAL fantasy and then there's deliberately leading someone on for personal gain. If there's any fantasy it should be something the viewer wants, not something he is tricked into.

We're camgirls, don't make it sound like it's an affliction, it's a job - and for some of us it's even a hobby. We are real people just like everyone else, and guess what, we have feelings, morals, standards, likes and dislikes. So yes i believe it is possible for a host to start liking and even fall in love with a member, and vice versa. Some people really need to grow up. It's a simple equation: host and member meet - member pays (once, twice, endlessly) - they get to know each other - like what they discover - member quits seeing host in video eventually. Take it from there, and keep in mind there are guys out there who don't look at this "job" as being degrading, aswell as girls who see their members as real people, not as piggy banks.

Paying to speak with a potential bride????? The name 'Long Term & Marriage should be banned as it encourages misrepresentation, scamming & game playing.
IE the very Name ' Long Term & Marriage' can mislead naive guys into the clutches of unscrupulous hosts.
I say trash the category coz i do not belive that any host ' working' that category is genuinely looking for a bf or marriage. Therefore the category is deceiving.

The Hosts will always twist the categories to their advantage. One night take a good look at who is in "Shy" and "Not So Shy" and "Instant Action", 3 categories which clearly have different meanings. There are Hosts who are clearly working multiple categories at once just under different IDs. I know one Host who works "Shy" hoping to make money by just chatting with guys (which makes her night go easier) and she will tell them that she's single and hoping to meet a nice guy who will spend the time (and obviously money) getting to know her. Yet at the same time you can find her in instant action under a different ID trying to grab customers who want an immediate show.
The crock of this being she'll also tell them she's single in the hopes of turning them into romantically interested regulars, but I know she has a BF at home. I'm just waiting for her to open up a third and fourth ID in "Make new Friends" and in "Long Term and Marriage" so she can cover all of the bases at once and play the same less than truthful game in those categories as well.

#1 I cut some slack cuz alot of girls use translation proggys and some acutally have slow enough connections it takes a while for the response to come through.

#2 and #3 yes. That's just treating the customer bad and isn't going to make him want to return or stay in the current session. I tend to just end the session without bothering to say why when I'm being ignored in favour of giggling with the person on the other end of the studio couch.

What about Hosts who go out of their way to talk to you, to befriend you, ask all bout you, who tell you all about them (or what you THINK is them sharing real information), who tell you they're single, who stay in touch away from the cam site by messenger or email, who say real romance is in the air...and then you realize one day it was all a set up? They were just working you and your emotions and your wallet? And all of a sudden the single girl magically has a boyfriend who wasn't there before.
It's one thing to be on cam and do a job and take money for it. But I think it's a whole other thing to work a guy over and break his heart knowing that was the end intention all along. I have see the same host at other chat sites and they are online the same time as they are on CC... It is very easy to tell if the host has more than one chat going at a time. Sometimes I will ask the host if she is chatting with someone else, they always say "no" and make up some excuse. It is not fair to the member if he is paying $$$$ then he should get your full attention.

So what seems to work best is to get their number before the video. Call it to make sure you can make contact. I say this because sometimes I get a number during video and spend 10 minutes trying to make contact only to fail. Waste of time and money. If the host says they will only give you the number in video...move on. I have been given a few bad numbers over the years. Anyway...have the host agree to at least listen to you and join in with appropriate moans and sighs. The best part of phone is seeing the host's reaction. Often they turn red or they eyes widen or they really appear excited. Even if a host sees a ton of action cam to cam ...the phone adds a dimension of reality that is very exciting. And always ask a host if they have a mobile phone. Not if they do phone. Then negotiate the video and call. And most will insist on 121 for the privacy which is reasonable.

I am surprised you are so cynical and distrusting of members. I have video with phone probably 50 times on CC and other than the first few times when I got burned by the host I was given the number in text chat. I called every time. The deal was I call and if they answer I go immediately to 121 video. It has worked well for me and the many many hosts who have agreed to do it. I think the member has more to fear about being given a bad number than the host does in being called by a member outside of a video. So members don't be discouraged or put off by these hosts. Ask for the number in text chat. If they refuse move on. There are many many hosts who are happy to provide it.

Well lets look at this. First I would never ask a host for phone with video unless I knew her well. That means we did a number of videos without phone and generally I spoke to her for hours in text chat. That probably makes a big difference. I am basically a nice, funny guy who respects hosts a great deal and appreciates when they agree to do phone with video. So maybe I am in effect "pre-screening" the hosts. If a host says no..it is no...obviously. If a host says maybe then we do more videos and talk more to make her feel at ease. If a host says yes right off the bat then I say...lets chat a bit. For me the appeal of CC is getting to know very young, bright, articulate, funny and beautiful hosts on a personal level before videos. I think Bell is right on. Just ask. Even if they don't have a phone in their profile many many hosts are willing to do phone with video if you accept the fact their English is poor. I also agree you get the phone number in advance. Using a phone card and dialing all the numbers plus the time it takes to connect can eat up 5 minutes of video time. Unless the host is a real mercenary and only wants to screw you out of money then she will give you the number in text. Really my experience is 20 or more hosts. No problem giving me the number in advance. Never one said only in video.

For Football (Soccer) Fans
Tonight Argentina plays Nigeria for the Gold in the Olympics. You could not put two totally different teams on a pitch. Argentina is the #1 team in the world, a disciplined finesse team, inside shots. Nigeria is brute force, speed and rocket shots from the outside. Many of the member who come here are drawn or were drawn by the price. They would have never paid for videos in the higher priced sites. Ever. This site provided a cheaper alternative. I don't know why hosts think members have unlimited money but for most that is not the case. They have only so much they are willing to spend on this type of entertainment. If prices go up they buy less. If they go too high they question the value and consider spending their money on another type of entertainment. Prices can reach a point when the majority of members will say no way. Whether other sites charges prices that high or not is not the issue. What this site charges is.

Actually, i "met" a host elsewhere and she told me about this site so we could chat in free alone, and also do cheap videos here. She was an awesome friend (still friend but gone from the business for a year)

obviously with anything...when the $$ goes up its definitely cause for concern, however, there r still a fairly wide variety of $$ choices here but your fav may not be one of them...so try somebody new for a change.

Some of those sites where the normal price is $4.99 you also pay for time in advance, so after I spend $50 I am automatically disconnected and I do not spend more. Here at $1.50 if I am having fun in video chatting and making a friend I may stay an hour instead of 10 minutes, that would be $90. Sure you may have to talk to me longer, but if you are good you will get $40 more from me or even more if I stay longer, at the other site you probably wont. Its bad for me but when I am enjoying myself I usually spend much more money here than I ever would at another site.
If all I wanted to do was get off in 5 minutes, I would just find some free porn and never visit here. So many hosts put in their profile they dont like 2 minute man, well I dont like 2 minute hosts either, and when I see $4.99 that's what I think the host wants is a 2 minute show. Heck I have been known to spend over $300 at a time for 3 hour shows where the host only chatted with me, that will never happen at another site I am sure. This really is the best site I have ever been at, and I hope it doesn't end up like all the others.

When I learn or I see any indication a host is multi-camming when I am in her video, I close the session immediately without even spending the time to write "goodbye". It is not worth my time and money to be entertained when the instructions are coming from another site.

I posted a fast reply, but for fun I'll start a new debate thread to really get into it. So I'm curious: why DO you girls hide your BFs so much? If you think like UCallMeBabe and having a BF changes nothing -- if you feel that you're just here to perform and put on a good show and that's it -- then why not be honest upfront and just say you have a BF or husband at home? So no one gets the wrong idea right from the start or so that a guy doesn't get his heart broken down the road?
